Ignite Valley Center Grant

The 2026 Menocause: Ignite Valley Center grant opportunity is a competitive funding initiative administered by the Valley Center Community Foundation (VCCF), an affiliate of the Central Kansas Community Foundation (CKCF). This grant is supported by the Menocause: Ignite Valley Center Fund, a philanthropic collective of men committed to enhancing charitable giving in Central Kansas. The Fund and its partners aim to uplift the quality of life for Valley Center residents through targeted support in the areas of education, health, community development, and cultural enrichment. Approximately $25,000 in funding is available for the 2026 grant cycle. This grant seeks to back projects that are charitable, educational, or community-based in nature. Successful proposals will reflect the Fund’s priorities by demonstrating urgency in addressing community needs, proposing bold or innovative ideas, or introducing creative solutions to longstanding issues. Eligible projects must be located in or primarily benefit the Valley Center, Kansas community. The application window for this opportunity will open on December 1, 2025, and close on December 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM Central Time. Applications must be submitted through the Central Kansas Community Foundation’s online grant portal. Late or incomplete submissions will not be reviewed. Required documentation includes a current IRS Determination Letter, a completed W-9 form, and a detailed project budget. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations holding 501(c)(3) status, government or public entities such as schools, cities, or counties, and groups operating under verified fiscal sponsorship arrangements. Applicants must demonstrate organizational experience and, if previously funded, must have submitted a Grant Impact Report to remain eligible. The grant period will run from February through October 2026, and award notifications are scheduled for February 1, 2026. Selected grantees are required to sign a Grant Award Agreement before any funds are disbursed. A Grant Impact Report is due by October 30, 2026, documenting the outcomes and use of funds.
