The Emergency Medical Dispatch Grant supports Massachusetts public safety answering points and regional emergency communications entities in maintaining or providing emergency medical dispatch capability. Funded costs may include a certified emergency medical dispatch resource, an emergency medical dispatch protocol reference system, and other emergency medical dispatch and quality assurance services such as medical director or third-party review contracts. Eligible applicants are PSAPs, Regional PSAPs, Regional Secondary PSAPs, and RECCs in Massachusetts. Applications are submitted through Commbuys, and if submitted that way the original signed application pages must also be mailed to the State 911 Department.
