The application process requires completion of structured form fields and submission of supporting documentation, including a narrative, a record of arts activities over the past year, board and staff listings, financial documentation, and an accessibility self-assessment. Applications are evaluated based on eligibility to receive state funds, completeness of the submission, and the alignment of arts programming with the organization’s mission. For the Youth Employment in the Arts component, evaluation also considers supervision quality and the meaningfulness of youth responsibilities.
