Jazz Pharmaceuticals Quality Improvement Grants: Improving Guideline Concordant Care for Advanced HER2+ Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma is a quality improvement funding opportunity developed through a collaboration between Jazz Pharmaceuticals and EveryGrant powered by Conquer Cancer, the ASCO Foundation. Proposed projects should apply quality improvement standards to assess current adherence to treatment guidelines, evaluate guideline-discordant care, and implement measures that improve guideline-concordant care. Projects should address equitable access, involve relevant stakeholders and the patient community, and be sustainable, scalable, and transferable to other settings. Applicants are expected to include the patient perspective through collaboration with patient advocates, advocacy organizations, or other groups representing affected patients. Projects that improve knowledge of and access to precision medicine and affect treatment centers in community settings are encouraged. Eligible applicants include U.S. healthcare delivery systems and academic and community oncology delivery networks, with applications from community cancer care providers strongly encouraged. Proposals must represent multidisciplinary teams delivering care to GEA patients. Collaboration among healthcare centers and organizations, particularly community care providers, is encouraged, and proposals should include collaboration with patient advocates, advocacy organizations, or other groups able to represent the perspective of GEA patients. Awards will be made only to eligible organizations and institutions; individual healthcare professionals cannot receive awards directly. The program is limited geographically to the United States. The RFP does not support clinical research projects evaluating the efficacy or safety of therapeutic or diagnostic agents, and the grant is not intended to fund the creation of roles in care delivery. A total of $1,000,000 USD is available through the RFP, and individual projects requesting up to $125,000 USD will be considered. Total project costs, including overhead, cannot exceed $125,000 over a 24-month period.
