Impact100 Core Mission Grant
This funding opportunity supports nonprofit organizations in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, and Cumberland counties, New Jersey, to implement impactful projects in community health, education, and initiatives benefiting families and individuals.
The 2026 Core Mission Grant is administered by Impact100 South Jersey, a collective giving organization committed to strengthening nonprofits and communities within South Jersey. This initiative aims to provide significant financial support to nonprofit organizations whose missions align closely with one of five focus areas: Arts and Culture, Children & Families, Education, Environment & Sustainability, and Health & Wellness. To be eligible, applicant organizations must hold current tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. They must have annual revenues between $300,000 and $5 million, as verified through three years of filed IRS 990 forms and corresponding independent audited financial statements. Additionally, applicants must be based in, or operate a satellite office with a physical address in, Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, or Cumberland counties in New Jersey. All proposed projects must serve residents in at least one of these counties and carry a budget of no less than $100,000. The grant process follows a two-step application pathway. Initially, all organizations must submit a Grant Eligibility Application, which includes basic organizational and financial information, along with the required financial documents. This stage is evaluated by the Finance Review Committee. Applicants deemed eligible and financially sound are then invited in late January to submit a full proposal for Step 2. Finalists will be determined after a review of full applications and spring site visits, culminating in presentations at the Annual Meeting in June 2026. The selected grantee will receive a $100,000 Core Mission Grant. The remaining two finalists will receive general operating support grants of unspecified amounts, which will depend on the final membership tally and be announced in mid-June. All applications are submitted through an online portal, where previous users must log in with existing credentials and new users must create an account. Ongoing applicant communication will be managed exclusively through this portal. The application for eligibility opened in late fall 2025, and the submission deadline is December 19, 2025 at 5 PM. Projects must begin after July 1, 2026 and conclude by June 30, 2028. This grant is non-recurring and tied specifically to the 2026 program cycle, with no indication of an annual or future cycle being guaranteed. All correspondence, updates, and instructions will be shared digitally via the grant portal, emphasizing the importance of maintaining accurate contact details throughout the process.
