The minimum grant request is $10,000. Only one application may be submitted per organization each calendar year. The Trusler Foundation holds three grant cycles annually, with deadlines on March 3, August 1, and November 3. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on the deadline day and may be sent via email or delivered in person.
Required components include a cover sheet, narrative responses to structured questions, and specific attachments such as a 501(c)(3) determination letter, the latest financial statement or Form 990, a one-page project budget, and a list of board members. On-site evaluations may be requested at the discretion of the Advisory Committee. Funded organizations are required to acknowledge the Foundation in all public communications and submit a final report within one year of receiving funds.
