Selected semifinalists participate in virtual interviews, after which finalists are chosen to advance to a statewide competition. Finalists receive initial grant funding and technical assistance to refine their proposals before presenting a live pitch at the state competition. For the 2026 cycle, applications are scheduled to open on May 11, 2026 and close on June 25, 2026.
