Community Economic Growth Grant

This grant supports community economic development projects in Wyoming that focus on improving the business environment, increasing community capacity for economic development, and encouraging partnerships and community engagement. Allowable uses include economic development projects, infrastructure improvements, consulting fees, studies, educational or training program expenses, and grant matches. Eligible applicants are Wyoming local governments, joint powers boards, and federally recognized tribes rather than individuals, businesses, or other solo organizations. The program is designed for collaborative projects that strengthen local economic opportunity and community conditions.

Define the problem clearly using the Five Whys Technique; demonstrate that benefits extend to the community at large rather than individual businesses; support the action plan with evidence; provide a logical and thorough budget; explain how the project increases community capacity or capabilities; emphasize collaborative partnerships or community engagement.
