Grant Description

The Allstate Main Street Grants Program is a private funding initiative presented in partnership by Allstate, Hello Alice, and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN). The program is designed to support small businesses operating across the United States and Puerto Rico by combining business education, peer networking, and direct grant capital. The initiative focuses on strengthening local businesses that contribute to the economic vitality of Main Streets and neighborhood commercial corridors. Through a total funding commitment of approximately $2 million, the program seeks to provide operational support and long-term business resilience resources to entrepreneurs demonstrating financial need and growth potential. The program is administered by Circular Board, doing business as Hello Alice, alongside GEN, and is governed by detailed terms and conditions published by the sponsors. The program structure includes two primary components. First, approximately 250 selected businesses will participate in a 12-week virtual Boost Camp accelerator program focused on marketing, financial management, operations, growth planning, and strategic business development. Participants receive weekly educational content, peer-to-peer networking opportunities, strategic planning tools, and access to a dedicated digital community space. Second, a subset of approximately 100 participants will be selected to receive unrestricted business grants of $20,000 each. According to the official terms and conditions, grant funding may be used broadly for the benefit of the business and can support operational improvements, business expansion strategies, tools, equipment, staffing, marketing initiatives, financial stabilization efforts, or other business growth activities. Acceptance into the Boost Camp does not guarantee grant funding. The sponsors reserve the right not to award grants if suitable applications are not received. Eligible applicants must be the leading executive of the applying business, including founders, presidents, chief executive officers, chief financial officers, chief operating officers, or similar leadership roles. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, or 19 years old in Alabama and Nebraska, and must be legal residents of one of the fifty United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. Eligible businesses must be for-profit entities registered and operating within the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. Businesses must already have products or services on the market and must have generated at least $25,000 in revenue during 2025. Applicants must demonstrate a need for funding and business coaching support and must commit to participating in the virtual Boost Camp beginning in 2026. Businesses currently participating in a Hello Alice Boost Camp or that have participated in one within the prior 12 months are not eligible. Additional restrictions exclude businesses involved in adult entertainment, firearms, gambling, marijuana dispensaries, multi-level marketing, direct competitors, and certain alcohol-related operations except restaurants. Businesses affiliated with political or religious organizations are also ineligible. Applications must be submitted online through the Hello Alice application portal. Applicants are required to create or log into a Hello Alice account and complete all required sections of the online application form. The application process includes responding to questions regarding the business, founder experience, operational needs, financial challenges, business goals, and community impact. Only one application is permitted per business and applicant executive. All entries must be submitted no later than June 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Applications cannot be modified after submission. The sponsors may verify eligibility through additional documentation requests and may require selected grant recipients to complete affidavits, liability releases, and publicity releases within 48 hours of notification. Applications are evaluated using formal review criteria established by the sponsors and their designated review panel. The review process places 35 percent weight on founder experience, expertise, and commitment; 35 percent weight on demonstrated need for coaching and funding to achieve business goals or milestones; and 30 percent weight on demonstrated commitment to the community. In cases of tied scores, the sponsors will use the scoring order of the review criteria to break ties. The sponsors may feature selected applicants in promotional materials and social media content, although such visibility does not influence grant selection outcomes. Award decisions are final and remain entirely within the discretion of the sponsors. The official program timeline opens with applications beginning on May 11, 2026 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time and closing on June 23, 2026 at 6:00 PM Eastern Time. The review period runs from June 23 through July 17, 2026. Boost Camp participants are expected to be notified in July 2026, with the virtual Boost Camp beginning in late July or August 2026 according to published program materials. The first live Boost Camp session is scheduled for August 6, 2026, and grant recipients are expected to be publicly announced on November 28, 2026. The program appears to operate on a recurring annual basis, as evidenced by the completed 2025 grant cycle and the launch of the 2026 application round. No matching funds or cost-sharing requirements are imposed on applicants. Questions regarding the opportunity may be directed through the Hello Alice support and FAQ resources provided on the official program page and application portal.
