GROW Apprenticeship Grants

Applicants may apply for one or more grant categories to expand registered apprenticeship programs, including related instruction, supportive services, pre-apprenticeship training and services, innovation, and planning activities. Eligible work includes classroom, online, or hybrid instruction; Apprentice orientation; Soft skills training; Enrollment, retention, and belonging activities; Licensing and credentialing fees; English for Speakers of Other Languages instruction; Childcare costs; Educational supplies; Staff costs associated with apprentice enrollment; retention; administration; and reporting.; Identify occupations with high vacancies; Review of proposed goals, outcomes and program impact; Expand apprenticeship to underrepresented populations; Employer commitments to sponsor/apprentices; Plan for financial viability beyond grant period; Curriculum and training schedule development; Proposed budget evaluation in MA.
