While there is no predefined ceiling on individual awards, the total amount available for each grant cycle is approximately $24,000. The fund is designed for nonprofit organizations holding 501(c)(3) status, with primary operations based in Bibb County, Georgia, or its contiguous counties. Funding decisions focus on supporting projects that reflect the fund’s strategic priorities and demonstrate potential for community-wide benefits. Applicants must register for CFCG's Web Portal to access and submit the Dunlap Williamson Fund application. This registration process requires at least one business day, so applicants are advised not to delay registration until the week of the deadline. Required application materials include a project budget summary, board authorization letter, board of directors/trustees list, current annual operating budget, IRS determination letter, and the most recent financial audit or IRS Form 990. These documents must be uploaded in PDF format. After the deadline, CFCG conducts due diligence on submitted applications, which may include direct contact with applicants for clarification. The Dunlap Williamson Fund Committee reviews all submissions and recommends grants to the CFCG Executive Committee for final approval. Notifications are typically issued within three months of the deadline. Funded organizations may only receive one grant per 12-month period. Grant recipients are required to submit a final report detailing the use and outcomes of the funds. This report must be filed online through the grants portal within 60 days of fund depletion, prior to submitting a new application, or within one year of the original application deadline—whichever comes first.
