SBIR Matching Grant Program

The SBIR Matching Grant Program supports Wyoming businesses that already hold an active federal SBIR or STTR Phase I or Phase II award. It is intended to help those companies advance and commercialize their technologies, catalyze innovation and business growth, and create positive economic impact in Wyoming. Eligible applicants are Wyoming businesses with at least 50 percent of employees based in the state and a commitment to seek additional funding beyond SBIR or STTR. The program offers up to $100,000 for Phase I awards and up to $200,000 for Phase II awards, with a maximum of four matches over the lifetime of the business. Applications are accepted year-round and approved businesses must submit annual reporting for three years after award while maintaining a meaningful nexus in Wyoming.
