Grant Description

The Denver Broncos Community Grant Program is offered by the Denver Broncos Foundation to support youth serving projects and programs in Colorado. The Foundation identifies four principal funding priorities: youth health and wellness, youth and high school football, dynamic in and out of school programming, and access to career pathways. Within youth health and wellness, priority is given to efforts that improve youth mental health outcomes, including emotional regulation and coping skills, and efforts that reduce food insecurity. The youth and high school football priority focuses on expanding access to football while enhancing player health and safety, supporting small scale capital improvements, and launching first time girls flag football initiatives. Dynamic in and out of school programming includes projects and programs designed to increase school attendance and engagement and comprehensive out of school time programming that fosters youth belonging and engagement. The access to career pathways priority includes efforts that increase access to industry recognized credentials, high quality career and technical education, and work based learning opportunities focused on postsecondary readiness. Grant requests must support a specific youth serving program or project within one of the stated funding priority areas and must serve youth ages 5 through 24. Eligible organizations must provide programs or services in Colorado. Applicants must have 501c3 status or a government equivalent and must operate with a programming expense ratio of at least 80 percent. Organizations may complete only one application during each calendar year from January 1 through December 31. Organizations that previously received a Denver Broncos Community Grant are not guaranteed recurring support and must have submitted a grant report through CyberGrants to the Denver Broncos Foundation before they are eligible to apply again. The Community Grant Program excludes several types of requests and expenditures. It does not fund fundraising support, including special event tables, event sponsorships, and auction items; administration or operating costs; religious organizations; individuals; endowments or other reserve funds; annual memberships; political campaigns; conferences; workshops; or group or individual trips. The Foundation also does not fund individuals who are fundraising on behalf of a charity. For youth football registration fee and equipment support, the Foundation separately partners with Every Kid Sports and Good Sports to streamline those application processes. Applications are submitted through the Denver Broncos Foundation Community Grant application hosted in CyberGrants. Completing an application does not guarantee an award. After submitting an application, applicants are instructed not to contact the Denver Broncos regarding application status. Because of application volume, the Foundation does not provide feedback on proposals that are not funded. No individual grant contact, program email address, telephone number, detailed application question list, award range, total program funding amount, number of awards, or matching requirement is provided in the supplied grant information. Applications are reviewed and approved quarterly after each funding cycle submission deadline. As of August 19, 2026, the current cycle is 2026 Q4, which began August 16, 2026 and has an application submission deadline of November 15, 2026. Applicants for that cycle are scheduled to receive notification by December 15, 2026, and the corresponding grant report is due January 15, 2028. The next explicitly listed cycle is 2027 Q1, beginning January 1, 2027, with an application deadline of February 15, 2027, notification by March 15, 2027, and a grant report due April 15, 2028. Funding cycle dates and deadlines are subject to change, and the Foundation states that current information will be maintained on its webpage.
