Our Success is Your Success Support Program

The Our Success is Your Success Support Program is a funding initiative established by the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society, or AVHOFS, effective July 2025. The program supports the Society's mission to undertake charitable and other projects at the state and local levels and to work with Veterans' Organizations in attaining the Society's objectives. Through the program, AVHOFS provides financial support to selected organizations that provide services, programs, or assistance to Arizona veterans, military servicemembers, their families, and survivors. Applications from individuals seeking assistance are not accepted. Funding is instead directed to Veteran Service Organizations and other established organizations for veteran- or military-focused programs and projects that AVHOFS determines are appropriate for support. Applicants must complete the AVHOFS Project/Program Request Form and provide detailed justification for the requested funding amount. Awards are based on demonstrated need and the information supplied in the application and are subject to AVHOFS's established annual funding cap. AVHOFS expects to fund multiple applications during each cycle, but no program or project request may receive more than $10,000. Organizations should not apply more than once in a calendar year. An organization may submit only one application in a cycle, although that single application may include or request support for multiple programs or projects when appropriate. The application specifically requests the organization's full legal name, website if applicable, mailing address, EIN, IRS organizational status or other tax-exempt or organization type, and organizational point-of-contact information. The required Certificate of Good Standing must show that the organization is legally registered in Arizona and in full compliance with Arizona annual reporting requirements. The online application requires the amount requested and a detailed project description, including information about who the project or program will help and the projected number of veteran or military personnel expected to benefit. Applicants must explain whether the project or program already exists and, if so, how the requested funds will support it; whether the project is fully developed and its current status; other funding already secured or requested; staffing requirements, including staff status and whether requested funds will pay staff; project lead information; and any additional information pertinent to AVHOFS's review. Applicants must also provide a detailed project or program budget and a Certificate of Good Standing from the Arizona Corporation Commission. Up to three optional additional documents, such as letters of support or materials describing the project or program, may also be uploaded. The applicant must consent that the submitted information is accurate and complete and that the person submitting the request is authorized to act for the organization. Applicants are instructed to gather all necessary information and documentation before beginning the online submission because the form or website has a maximum completion time of 60 minutes. The required budget may be submitted as PDF, Word, or Excel files, with up to two files permitted. The Certificate of Good Standing may be uploaded as JPG, JPEG, PNG, or PDF. Optional supporting documents may be submitted in PDF or Word format, with a maximum of three files. AVHOFS states that awards will be determined based on demonstrated need and the information supplied in the application. For the Fall 2026 cycle, applications are accepted from July 1 through September 30, 2026.
