Funding is intented to address the need for homelessness assistance and supportive services specifically for qualifying populations defined as homeless, at risk of homelessness, fleeing, or attempting to flee domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking and other vulnerable populations at risk of housing instability. HOME-ARP funding for this NOFA will provide grants to nonprofit and Native American Entities. The Department will award HOME-ARP funds to provide critical services to those experiencing homelessness, exiting homelessness and to prevent vulnerable populations from losing housing.

With this solicitation, BJS seeks to administer the Bureau of Justice Statistics Statistical Support Program (BJS-SSP). The primary aim of the BJS-SSP is to provide statistical and methodological support for existing and new data collections. BJS collects, analyzes, publishes, and disseminates information on policing, prosecution, courts, institutional corrections, community supervision, and victimization. The BJS-SSP will support efforts to expand the agencys capacity to collect, analyze, and report criminal justice data, increasing the breadth of substantive issues.

This program provides for the development, operation, and management of a training and technical assistance (TTA) program for justice-focused community-based organizations directly serving communities disproportionately impacted by crime, violence, and victimization. The TTA provider will facilitate the delivery of national-scale, high-quality TTA to increase the administrative, financial, and programmatic capacity of justice-focused community-based organizations designed to primarily serve historically marginalized and underserved communities, including rural communities; increase awareness of OJP funding opportunities to targeted organizations and provide skill-building and other TTA to support the ability for these organizations to apply for and maintain OJP funding, if received; improve the quality of their programming and service delivery; and build support for their infrastructure and administrative and financial controls to successfully meet OJP program goals and objectives to strengthen their role as coproducers of safety and justice.

The purpose of this solicitation is to broaden participation in innovation ecosystems that advance key technologies (e.g., advanced manufacturing, advanced wireless, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, quantum information science, semiconductors, novel materials, and microelectronics) by supporting capacity-buildingefforts at institutions of higher education (IHEs) interested in growing external partnerships. Creation of this program is motivated by the commitment of the National Science Foundation (NSF), including the newly established NSF Directorate for Technology, Innovation and Partnerships (TIP), to accelerate scientific and technological innovation nationwide and empower all Americans to participate in the U.S. research and innovation enterprise. Establishing more inclusive innovation ecosystems will require broad networks of partners working together in support of use-inspired research; the translation of such research to practice or commercial application; and the development of a skilled workforce. The NSF Regional Innovation Engines (NSF Engines) program, housed within the TIP Directorate, seeks to growinclusive innovation ecosystemsaround the country. Growing such ecosystems will only be successful if all interested IHEs within a region are able to participate and contribute their unique set of skills and expertise. However, NSF appreciates many Minority-Serving Institutions (MSIs), Predominantly Undergraduate Institutions (PUIs), and two-year institutions lack the infrastructure and resources needed to grow external partnerships and effectively contribute to innovation ecosystems, and thus are currently unable to effectively engage with the NSF Engines program. This solicitation aims to provide MSIs, PUIs, and two-year institutions with limited or no research capacity (see Section IV for details) with the support necessary to become equitable partners with teams competing under the current and subsequent NSF Engines program funding opportunities.Importantly, participation in this solicitation is not predicated on an existing partnership with organizations submitting an NSF Engines proposal.Rather, it is expected that the capacity-building efforts funded under this solicitation will provide significant innovation partnership opportunities irrespective of future participation in an NSF Engine.

Creative Forces: NEA Military Healing Arts Network is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the U.S. Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. The mission of Creative Forces is to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life for military and veteran populations exposed to trauma, as well as their families and caregivers, by increasing knowledge of and access to clinical creative arts therapies and community arts engagement. The purpose of this program solicitation is to select an organization (Cooperator) to manage the Clinical component of the Creative Forces program (the Clinical Program) through a cooperative agreement. Activities will advance health and well-being at Creative Forces Clinical Sites. The Cooperative Agreement resulting from this program solicitation can start no earlier than March 1, 2025 and may extend for up to 24 months. An organization may submit only one proposal under this program solicitation.

The UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour Award is currently accepting nominations for its 2024 round. This solicitation presents an opportunity to shift towards on-site clean, dispatchable generation technologies, addressing the evolving generation mix and ensuring an ample supply of resources to meet the demands of critical facilities during the net peak period while maintaining system reliability. These technologies are well-suited to ensure a reliable and resilient energy supply for critical infrastructure on-site, including communications, healthcare, government offices, and many more, to provide on-demand load and peak matching. As such, this solicitation will focus on advancing emerging clean, dispatchable generation technologies, such as fuel cells or linear generators, using 100 percent renewable fuels, especially for critical sectors like industrial and commercial that have operational needs during peak hours. The projects from this solicitation will be deployed in these critical sectors and will reduce their demand on the grid, thereby decreasing the reliance from fossil-gas power plants during times of high electricity demand. Expected outcomes include on-site pilot-scale deployment of cost-effective and highly efficient clean, dispatchable generation technologies that will support energy demand of critical facilities and reduce the strain from the state’s electric grid while significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and criteria pollutants by curbing fossil-based generation. Ultimately, these projects will contribute to supporting the state's decarbonization goals, enhancing the reliability and strengthening the resilience of the state’s electric grid by increasing the availability of on-site clean, dispatchable generation technologies.
