The Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona, with support from the National Endowment for the Arts, the City of Tucson, and Pima County will accept proposals for funding from arts and culture organizations in Tucson and Southern Arizona. The Arts Foundation will steward local, regional and federal funds to complement a 3-year initiative to equitably rebuild arts economies in the borderlands and strengthen civic participation. Operating Support Grants will invest in Southern Arizona’s arts economy to 1) Restore/create jobs and 2) Incentivize arts & civic engagement. The grant program is open to 501(c)3 Arts Organizations located within the Arts Foundation’s service area, which includes counties and Tribal Nations that reside between the southern edges of the Gila River to the US-Mexico international border. *Fiscally sponsored organizations residing within Pima County may apply. Operating Support Grants intend to make awards that will impact a broad constituency. This includes a wide geographic range and organizations that support underserved populations such as those whose opportunities to experience the arts are limited by geography, ethnicity, economics, or disability. Applicants will be asked to complete an online form including contact information, artistic mission, arts programming, demographics, and budget.

Art Project Program Grant Application Program Overview: The Art Project program provides funding of up to $5,000 to support relevant, meaningful arts activities with value to the community your organization serves. Support may be used to create, perform, exhibit, or publish artistic works; or to present arts events by contracting the services of other organizations or individuals. Important Dates for FY24: Open: April 1, 2024 Deadline: Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. Project Start Date: July 1, 2024 Deadlines are firm, applicants are encouraged to finish in advance of the deadline. Assistance is available during normal business hours via email at admin@aracouncil.org or grants@aracouncil.org. Who Can Apply? Eligible applicants include: State-registered and federally recognized non-profit, tax-exempt organizations Accredited schools Tribal governments Units of government Eligibility Criteria: Organization must be primarily based (permanent address) in Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, or St. Louis County (outside Duluth) or of the four Tribal Nations within our region: Bois Forte, Fond du Lac, Grand Portage, or Leech Lake (within Itasca County) for at least six months. All Duluth organizations are eligible regardless of budget size. Organizations outside of Duluth with minimum prior year arts operating expenses of $40,000 are eligible. No outstanding or overdue final reports from past funding. Applicants may apply only once per grant round and cannot receive funding from the same grant program twice in a fiscal year. Fiscal sponsorship is allowed for groups without non-profit, tax-exempt status. What Can I Fund? The purpose of the Maternal and Child Health Policy Innovation Program (MCH PIP) is to support innovative city, county, or state-level policy initiatives that improve outcomes and reduce associated health disparities for maternal and child health populations. Successful award recipients will provide technical assistance (TA) to stakeholders4, including governors offices, state legislatures, state and local health officials, and other state and local officials5 to help them develop and implement policy initiatives that improve outcomes and reduce related health disparities. Technical assistance will include (1) convening learning communities (LCs) that engage stakeholders (listed above) in addition to community members and people with lived experience and (2) developing and disseminating informational resources such as (but not limited to) policy briefs, webinars, and/or legislation trackers. Technical assistance for policy initiatives that address social determinants of health6 (SDOH), such as improving access to quality affordable housing, healthy foods, or transportation, is especially encouraged. Award recipients will also support TA for cities, counties, and/or states on Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) priority topics such as maternal and infant mortality and readiness for obstetric emergencies, and emerging MCH issues (recent examples of which include congenital syphilis, environmental health threats, Medicaid redetermination, and vaccine promotion).

This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits applications from eligible entities to incentivize and accelerate the replacement of existing non-ZE Class 6 and 7 heavy-duty vehicles with ZE vehicles. The EPA anticipates awarding up to $932 million in funds under this Clean Heavy-Duty Vehicles (CHDV) Grants NOFO, subject to the availability of funds, the quantity and quality of applications received, support for communities overburdened by air pollution, applicability of different business models, and other applicable considerations described in this document. This funding to support ZE vehicles will benefit communities across the United States (U.S.), especially communities that are disproportionately burdened by air pollution and marginalized by underinvestment. These replacement vehicles will ensure cleaner air for the communities in which they operate. The reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from these vehicle replacements will also help address the outsized role of the transportation sector in fueling the climate crisis.
