The purpose of the Research Facilities Act Program (RFAP) is to assist qualifying institutions with the costs related to constructing, purchasing, updating, renovating, or modifying agricultural research buildings to conduct research in the areas of agriculture and food sciences. The proposed agricultural research facility must expand the institution;apos;s capacity for long-term impactful research and must be the result of thorough strategic planning. Awards may be used to fund the construction of buildings or sites for agricultural research facilities or other facilities that store agricultural research experimental samples or specimens, as well as the purchase of real estate or durable equipment. Activities might include, but are not limited to:Evaluating infrastructure and sitesConceptual planning and design for a newly constructed, restored, or rebuilt structure or placeCreating construction plans and schematics for the facility or site that is being built, restored, or rebuilt.Building, restoring, or remodeling a facility or location.Investing in and putting in permanent equipment for research monitoring and safeguarding samples and specimens.Investing in and putting in essential building systems like electricity, climate control, security, life safety, lighting, utilities, telecommunications, and energy management.

The Public Education, Participation, and Outreach (PEPO) Grant Program, established in 2022, provides funding for statewide education and outreach initiatives and supports individual coordinators for each of Colorado's basin roundtables. The program aims to enhance public awareness of water issues in line with the Colorado Water Plan and respective Basin Implementation Plans. Grants are available in two categories: funding up to $25,000 for Basin Coordinators to manage education and outreach within their basin, and Statewide Initiatives grants for broader educational projects. Applications require approval from one of the nine basin roundtables and must be submitted through the CWCB Portal. The program supports a wide range of activities, including developing water education campaigns, conducting water awareness surveys, and facilitating statewide or multi-basin outreach efforts. The Division of Mathematical Sciences (DMS) in the Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences (MPS) at the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) plan to jointly support foundational mathematical and statistical research on Digital Twins in applied sciences. Recent years have witnessed a significant increase in the demand and interest in applications that involve collaborative teams developing and analyzing Digital Twins to support decision making in various fields, including science, engineering, medicine, urban planning, and more. Both agencies recognize the need to promote research aiming to stimulate an interplay between mathematics/statistics/computation and practical applications in the realm of Digital Twins. The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for funding for the FY24 Promoting Access to Crisis Teams (PACT) Community Policing Development program. The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) is the component of the U.S. Department of Justice responsible for advancing the practice of community policing by the nations state, local, territorial, and tribal law enforcement agencies through information and grant resources. The COPS Office is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for funding for the FY24 Community Policing Development Microgrants program. The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to support the development of clinical research platforms that will enable future clinical trials to determine whether combinations of HIV cure strategies can be effective when optimally tailored to the participants. The ultimate goal is for the results of such proof-of-concept clinical studies to inform the development and prioritization of more broad-based curative strategies that will be effective in all people living with HIV. This NOFO will support multidisciplinary teams to conduct coordinated basic and pre-clinical research to profile participants intact, rebound-competent HIV reservoirs and immunologic backgrounds and use that information to develop and test combinations of HIV curative approaches that are specifically tailored to those participants.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Sex Offender Sentencing, Monitoring, Apprehending, Registering, and Tracking (SMART Office) seeks applications for funding under the SMART FY 2024 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program. This program furthers DOJs mission by assisting states, the District of Columbia, principal U.S. territories and certain federally recognized Indian Tribes with implementation and ongoing maintenance of requirements under the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006, specifically Subtitle A of Title I of the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA). OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community.
