With this solicitation, BJS seeks to administer the Bureau of Justice Statistics Statistical Support Program (BJS-SSP). The primary aim of the BJS-SSP is to provide statistical and methodological support for existing and new data collections. BJS collects, analyzes, publishes, and disseminates information on policing, prosecution, courts, institutional corrections, community supervision, and victimization. The BJS-SSP will support efforts to expand the agencys capacity to collect, analyze, and report criminal justice data, increasing the breadth of substantive issues.

This program provides for the development, operation, and management of a training and technical assistance (TTA) program for justice-focused community-based organizations directly serving communities disproportionately impacted by crime, violence, and victimization. Creative Forces: NEA Military Healing Arts Network is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the U.S. Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. The mission of Creative Forces is to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life for military and veteran populations exposed to trauma, as well as their families and caregivers, by increasing knowledge of and access to clinical creative arts therapies and community arts engagement.
