This opportunity supports Regional STEM Networks in Massachusetts that convene partners across education, industry, workforce, and community organizations to strengthen the state's STEM education and workforce pipeline. Funded networks are expected to align regional efforts, share best practices, expand access to high-quality STEM learning, and advance statewide priorities such as stronger STEM skills, STEM career awareness, workforce pathways, and participation in Massachusetts STEM Week and the statewide STEM Summit. Applicants must be able to serve as a regional convener and provide a lead or host institution with staffing, fiscal management, meeting space, data, and communications capacity. Eligible applicants include community-based organizations, institutions of higher education, nonprofits, and workforce boards, and proposals must represent collaboration among public and private partners. The funding is intended to support all nine designated STEM Network regions, with applicants applying to lead a specific region.

Approximately $350,000 is available. Base awards are expected to range from $30,000 to $35,000 per Regional STEM Network awardee, and applicants may request up to $5,000 in additional funds for student internships managed by the network.
