The Equitable and Affordable Solutions to Electrification (EAS-E) Home Electrification Prize offers up to $2.4 million in prizes for innovative solutions that advance the electrification retrofits of residential homes across all building types and geographies. The goal is to make electrification more affordable and accessible in existing U.S. homes, with a focus on equitable solutions for all homeowners, including those in low-income and under-resourced communities. The subrecipient shall access the current utilization of CHWs in the State of Arizona. The subrecipient shall use results to inform and develop a statewide CHW workforce development plan to expand CHW curricula, training delivery, career ladders, integration of CHWs, promotion of CHW voluntary certification, and/or sustainable payment mechanisms for CHW services. To aid BOEMs ongoing modeling efforts, this study aims to develop a near real-time (NRT) modeling system for the endangered North Atlantic right whale population and a survey segment database of cetacean and other marine wildlife observations. The modeling system will predict whale density across the eastern seaboard using real-time visual and acoustic observations, coupled with environmental covariates.The study objectives are to integrate various survey datasets, including aerial and ship surveys, into a segment database and develop NRT models that can respond more quickly and flexibly to shifts in species space use and phenology. BOEM and the National Marine Fisheries Service will fund this study jointly.Initially, the system will serve as a research and development testbed, allowing a collaborative team of developers to address statistical challenges and refine software workflow. After the effectiveness of the density models has been established, daily predictions will be made operational and disseminated to the public. The system's capabilities could be expanded to issue short-term forecasts and encompass additional species, contingent on data availability and the development of suitable methods.

The Forest Service is seeking proposals from qualified organizations/entities to conduct a current assessment, and review and identify emerging issues of the nations urban forest resources and the urban and community forestry programs and activities conducted by Federal and State agencies, nonprofit organizations, community and civic organizations and other interested parties across the country. Funds are to support the development of a National Urban and Community Forestry Advisory Councils Ten-Year Action Plan, 2027-2037 as mandated by Congress. NPS ABPP awards financial assistance to support community-driven stewardship of battlefields and sites of armed conflict through four grant opportunities Preservation Planning, Battlefield Restoration, Battlefield Interpretation, and Battlefield Land Acquisition.NPS ABPP administers Battlefield Interpretation Grants to provide assistance for projects that deploy technology to modernize and enhance battlefield interpretation and education at Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War battlefield sites eligible for assistance under the Battlefield Acquisition Grant Program established under 54 U.S.C. 308103(b). These grants are funded from the Land and Water Conservation Fund, which invests earnings from offshore oil and gas leasing to help strengthen communities, preserve history and protect the national endowment of lands and waters.
