Grant Opportunity: Energize Delaware Residential Solar Loan Program Description: The Energize Delaware Residential Solar Loan program offers low-interest loans to encourage the purchase of customer-owned renewable generation. The program aims to achieve utility bill savings, reduce environmental impact, and promote local job growth in the solar installation industry. Eligibility Criteria: - Must be a Delaware resident - Must be a homeowner of a single-family home or duplex - Minimum credit score of 650 - Maximum monthly debt-to-income ratio of 40% - Total loan cannot exceed 70% of the total project cost Loan Details: - Total loan amount: $5,000 - $30,000 - Interest rate: 3.9% - Loan term: Up to 10 years Additional Requirements: - Any storage capacity must be priced such that the total system cost does not exceed $6.00/installed watt of generation. - The system must meet specific Green Energy Grant Delaware requirements regarding grid connection, array orientation and tilt, and daily sunshine hours. Application Process: 1. Complete an online application at energizedelawareloans.org. 2. The application consists of two parts: initial and final. 3. After Part I is submitted, applicants will receive an eligibility letter via email. 4. Approved applicants can begin their solar project within three months of acceptance. 5. Once installation is complete, applicants must complete Part II within six months. 6. After Part II documents are reviewed, funds will be dispersed directly to the installer. Payment and Repayment: - Participating installers pay an initiation fee of $100 and must provide state licensing information. - Homeowners will begin loan repayment the month following fund disbursement. - Monthly payments cannot be adjusted. - There is no penalty for prepayment. Contractor Information: - Contractors must register with the program before being selected by homeowners. - Payment to contractors is issued after all Part II documents are submitted, including a signed Authorization Form, Promissory Note

The Rebuild and Recover Disaster Program, initiated by the Tennessee Housing Development Agency, aims to aid local communities in recovering from weather-related incidents. Eligible incidents include those with significant damage to owner-occupied homes, either without a Presidential Disaster Declaration or with one necessitating federal assistance before completion of a damage assessment. Federal program designed to assist low income households, particularly those who pay a high proportion of household income for home energy bills, meet their immediate home energy needs by providing an annual energy benefit. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is 100 percent federally funded through a grant from the Federal Department of Health and Human Services. LIHEAP provides funds to the states to help meet the utility costs of low-income eligible elderly and disabled adults.

Credit against federal tax liability for investors in the construction or rehabilitation of affordable rental housing. The Low-Income Housing Credit is a credit against federal income tax liability each year for 10 years for owners and investors in low-income rental housing. The amount of tax credits is based on reasonable costs of development, as determined by THDA, and the number of qualified low-income units.

The initiative aims to support ongoing statewide collective impact efforts and implementation of three Veteran initiatives focused on ending Veteran homelessness, assisting with employment barriers, and providing a pathway to higher levels of care for Veterans. The grant will provide financial and technical assistance to support homeless Veterans in Maricopa County and throughout the state, as well as facilitate collaborations with new partners to serve Veterans in need. Project Objectives: - Host the Maricopa County StandDown, serving over 2,000 homeless and at-risk Veterans annually. - Provide financial assistance for bridge housing or mitigation throughout the year in Maricopa County. - Provide financial and technical assistance to 11 StandDowns throughout the state. - Assist Veterans with obtaining employment through referrals from employment service providers. - Lead a multi-agency team to ensure programmatic goals are met for homeless Veterans. This program provides funding to build wheelchair ramps and make home modifications for individuals with mobility disabilities in Tennessee, ensuring they have better access to their homes.

Minor home repair program for elderly and disabled homeowners. The program is administered by development district and human resource agency partners on a statewide basis. To correct, repair, or replace an essential system and/or critical structural problem for low-income homeowners who are elderly (60+) or disabled. This is not a comprehensive home renovation program; the aim is to stabilize the homeowner's residence by making essential repairs to make the home more livable.

Designed to assist individuals with severe disabilities and their families to remain together in their homes and communities. Services are designed to be flexible and responsive to individual or family needs. Services can include but are not limited to: Respite care, day care services, home modifications, equipment, supplies, personal assistance, transportation, homemaker services, housing costs, health related needs, nursing and counseling.

Federal program designed to help homeless individuals / families enter into a shelter with the goal of finding affordable housing or maintain affordable housing. THDA administers the federally funded Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Program for the state of Tennessee in 92 of the state's 95 counties in order to fund the provision of services necessary to help persons who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness to quickly regain stability in permanent housing.

The BlueAngel Community Health Grant program at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island aims to fund organizations and programs that will result in more Rhode Islanders being able to afford safe, healthy, and stable housing. The program seeks to increase awareness about safe, affordable housing as a shared public concern and highlight solutions to support access to safe and affordable housing. The grant is open to Rhode Island nonprofit agencies that have qualified for exemption under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code or are public instrumentalities. Funding amounts historically range from $25,000 per year to $75,000 per year. Applicants are invited to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI), which will be reviewed by a BCBSRI LOI Review Subcommittee. Selected agencies will then be invited to submit full proposals for funding. Site visits will be conducted by Community Relations staff with each of the finalist organizations. The THDA Challenge Grant Program provides initial seed funding to support the private fundraising efforts of nonprofit organizations across Tennessee to implement housing and related activities that represent unique milestones, are part of a broad community initiative, or are part of a significant expansion of work outside the normal day-to-day activities of the organization. Selected proposals must generate cash leverage of at least 300% within nine months of THDA’s commitment of Challenge Grant resources to the housing initiative.

Provides gap funding to eligible nonprofit entities to help cover the costs to build new construction or substantially rehabilitate homes in distressed communities where property values still have not recovered. The Appraisal Gap Pilot Program (“Gap Program”) is a pilot program designed to provide a subsidy to eligible nonprofit entities, based on the difference or gap between the costs to build new homes or to substantially rehabilitate homes and the appraised value of the home that the nonprofit will sell to an eligible buyer. The Gap Program Subsidy may not fill the entire gap. The Gap Program’s goal is to expand the availability of affordable housing in areas of the state where property values have not fully recovered from the mortgage crisis.
