Georgia offers various homestead exemptions, including exemptions for seniors over 65, disabled veterans, and surviving spouses of public safety officers. The grant program was created in the late 1990s and discontinued after the 2008 Recession, but it has been reinstated due to the State's excess reserves. The grant does not provide a paper check or direct deposit, but rather appears as a reduction on the property tax bill.

Program Goals Projects should address the following Exposure program goals: Develop long-term, mutually beneficial relationships between arts and educational organizations, teaching artists, and the youth and families in the communities they serve. Cultivate students’ appreciation for the arts and understanding of themselves as the next generation of arts patrons and participants. Promote culturally and linguistically responsive learning through the arts, using cultural knowledge to support the cultural assets of the local community and students’ positive self-identification within and respect for diverse cultures.

With this solicitation, BJS seeks to maximize the utility of the Federal Justice Statistics Program (FJSP) by providing the data and tools needed to support evidence-based analyses for DOJ and other executive, legislative, and judicial branch agencies. This includes expanding the information available through the Federal Criminal Case Processing (FCCPS) query tool and demonstrating new waysespecially through record-linkage toolsthat federal data can be analyzed to develop evidence to support policymaking.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) is seeking applications for funding. OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety, protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community. With this solicitation, BJS seeks to collect data on persons who died in the custody of federal law enforcement (LE) agencies in FY 24, FY 25, and FY 26, building on BJSs existing efforts. The data collection will include a web-based interface to allow federal LE agencies to identify all deaths that are arrest-related or that occur in detention or incarceration facilities. OAJJA: Behavioral Health Information and Data Sharing Grant Program Overview: The Behavioral Health Information and Data Sharing Grant Program provides funding to support county jails in onboarding and integrating with the Colorado Trusted Interoperability Platform (CTIP). This initiative aims to exchange behavioral health, housing, and demographic information with the Colorado Integrated Criminal Justice Information System (CICJIS) to ensure continuity of care for individuals transitioning between criminal justice agencies and the community. Counties lacking an existing electronic jail management system infrastructure may face challenges in completing required activities. Eligible Activities: Integrating county jail data systems with CICJIS. Standardizing client-specific information through common data fields. On September 23, 2018, Senate Bill (SB) 1493 was approved and expanded the museum grant program’s project focus to include exhibits, educational programs, outreach programs, public programs, curriculum, marketing, and collections care in museums. The Budget Act of 2020 (SB 74) states that the California Natural Resources Agency shall prioritize the funds for museums severely affected by COVID-19 and that serve historically underserved communities and/or students subject to Title 1 of the Federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act. The Budget Act of 2021(AB 128) appropriated $50 million for museum grants and directed the California Natural Resources Agency to continue prioritizing the funding for museums severely affected by COVID-19 and that serve historically underserved communities or students subject to Title 1 of the Federal Elementary and SecondaryEducation Act.
