Women & Girl Services Grants

This grant provides funding to organizations already involved in breast and cervical cancer prevention to expand their services and address cardiovascular disease risk factors among underserved women.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in the West Bank and Gaza posts this notice to: 1) Gather information and ideas to inform the design of a new five-year activity entitled Female Empowerment, and 2) Identify potentially capable organizations to perform the requirements of the planned activity. With women representing half of Palestinian society in the West Bank and Gaza, USAID is committed to ensuring that female empowerment, gender equity, diversity, equity, and inclusion are incorporated in all of our activities. Palestinian women are known for their strength, tenacity, and resilience. USAID is proud to support Palestinian women leaders working to empower other women, close gender-based gaps, and improve their communities. This funding opportunity provides financial support to state, territorial, and tribal organizations for cancer prevention and control initiatives, focusing on improving access to screening, building coalitions, and enhancing cancer data collection to reduce disparities and promote health equity.
