The Texas Farm Bureau's Ag Mechanics Grant Program is designed to support agricultural mechanical and metal technologies educators by providing additional resources. This grant aims to enhance the skills of students in Agricultural Mechanics and Metal Technology through the education of 9th to 12th grade teachers. These teachers must be addressing Agriculture Mechanics and Metal Technologies, Agriculture Structures Design and Fabrication, Agriculture Equipment Design and Fabrication, and/or Agricultural Power Systems as per TEKS standards in a public or accredited non-public secondary educational institution.

The Essex Community Fund (ECF) at Adirondack Foundation invites local nonprofits, schools, churches, and municipalities to apply for grant funding. Eligible projects must serve town of Essex residents through community services, beautification, historic preservation, culture, the arts, education, or programs for youth and senior citizens. The deadline to apply is May 24. ECF gives strong preference to capacity building grants or modest one-time capital projects. It does not award grants for ongoing operating expenses. Eligible applicants include New Mexico’s Pueblo Indian organizations and tribal governments, Isleta del Sur Pueblo, community leaders, artists, and individuals within Pueblo communities, as well as non-Pueblo organizations with evidence of community support. The Thief River Falls Area Community Fund is inviting applications for grants from nonprofit or public entities within the Thief River Falls School District area. The Junior League of Sioux City, through its Mildred Anderson Community Grants program, supports short-term community need projects with a focus on volunteer participation. Established in 1990 with a generous donation, these grants promote charitable activities within the Siouxland tri-state area. Grant recipients are selected through a competitive process and must meet certain eligibility criteria including not having received a grant in the prior year, not being involved in a current Junior League project, and utilizing community volunteers in their projects. The FY25 Education Grant Program supports a wide array of teacher-led classroom and school-wide initiatives. Education grants are distributed annually each fall with a special reception for awardees in November. Eligible applicants include Public, MSDE approved nonpublic, or Middle States Accredited schools serving pre-K through 12th grade on the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland, specifically in Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties. Successful applications typically show broad support from school leadership, creativity in addressing challenges, a robust evaluation plan, potential for replication, sustainability prospects, and a direct connection to student success and well-being. Note that capital expenditures, field trips, previously funded programs at the same school, and costs associated with fundraising, playground equipment, faculty compensation, or office equipment are generally not funded. Special consideration is given to necessary equipment purchases and field trips that are integral to a larger educational project. Grant renewed every year.
