Notice of Funding Opportunity Summary The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an agency under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is announcing the potential availability of funding for the purpose of leveraging NRCS resources to encourage collaboration with partners in providing strategic conservation delivery assistance and/or provide tools or data that enhance the ability of the agency to support conservation activities. The overall intent of this solicitation is to solicit partnerships to help enhance the implementation of key conservation objectives and priorities outlined in this announcement. The purpose of the Pathway to Independence Award in Tobacco Regulatory Research (K99/R00) is to increase and maintain a strong cohort of new and talented independent investigators conducting research that will inform the development and evaluation of regulations on tobacco product manufacturing, distribution, and marketing. This program is designed to facilitate a timely transition of outstanding postdoctoral researchers with a research and/or clinical doctorate degree from mentored, postdoctoral research positions to independent, tenure-track or equivalent faculty positions

With this solicitation, the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) seeks applications for funding programs that support cross-system collaboration to improve public safety responses and outcomes for individuals with mental health disorders (MHDs) or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (MHSUDs). BJA provides grant funding to help organizations prepare, create, or expand comprehensive plans and then implement these collaborative projects to target people who qualify. For the purposes of the FY24 solicitation, the program will focus on pretrial, prosecution, courts, probation/parole, and addressing the needs directly related to the criminal activity of adults with mental health conditions, living in homelessness or marginalized communities with minimal access to treatment, needing wrap around services, in the criminal justice system and leaving incarceration.

The purpose of this initiative is to: 1.Support mining of SCORCH data to identify cell types, transcripts, enhancers, or transcriptional networks that play a role in HIV/ART or SUD molecular responses 2.Support functional validation studies (e.g. epigenomic or transcriptomic manipulation, high throughput secondary screening, etc.) to confirm or deny a biological role for data-mined cell types, transcripts, enhancers, or transcriptional networks in HIV/ART or SUD molecular responses 3.Provide foundational knowledge for understanding SUD and/or HIV/ART molecular mechanisms and to generate validated targets that could serve as a foundation for new SUD or HIV therapeutics (including NeuroHIV cognitive phenotypes)

This funding opportunity supports not-for-profit organizations and educational institutions in Tunisia to empower women entrepreneurs in the Jendouba and Kairouan regions through business training, mentorship, and networking.

The purpose of this supplemental funding is to strengthen organizational capacity to respond to the changing health care landscape and increase access to high quality family-centered HIV primary health care services for low income women, infants, children and youth (WICY) with HIV. The Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part D funds outpatient family-centered primary and specialty medical care for low-income women, infants, children, and youth with HIV. The Enhancing HIV Care of Women, Infants, Children and Youth: Building Capacity through Communities of Practice program is a platform for RWHAP Part D recipients to increase the delivery of evidence-based interventions, evidence-informed interventions, and emerging interventions that enhance client outcomes; increase the skill level of the HIV workforce providing care and treatment to women, infants, children, and youth; and involve partner collaboration for dissemination of best practices. During the four-year initiative, which began in fiscal year (FY) 2023, the Communities of Practice are focusing on three areas: ■ Pre-conception counseling, including sexual health (2023–2024) ■ Trauma-informed care (2024–2025) ■ The transition from youth services to adult care (2025–2026)
