This initiative seeks input from energy stakeholders to identify and develop large-scale electric grid projects that can meet the increasing energy demands of industries like data centers and advanced manufacturing.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD) released its annual omnibus Research Announcement (NRA), Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) 2024 (OMB Approval Number 2700-0092, CFDA Number 43.001) on February 14, 2024. In this case "omnibus" means that this NRA has many individual program elements, each with its own due dates and topics. All together these cover the wide range of basic and applied supporting research and technology in space and Earth sciences supported by SMD. Awards will be made as grants, cooperative agreements, contracts, and inter- or intra-agency transfers, depending on the nature of the work proposed, the proposing organization, and/or program requirements. However, most extramural research awards deriving from ROSES will be grants, and many program elements of ROSES specifically exclude contracts, because contracts would not be appropriate for the nature of the work solicited. The typical period of performance for an award is three years, but some programs may allow up to five years and others specify shorter periods. In most cases, organizations of every type, Government and private, for profit and not-for-profit, domestic and foreign (with some caveats), may submit proposals without restriction on teaming arrangements. Tables listing the program elements and due dates (Tables 2 and 3), a table that provides a very top level summary of proposal contents (Table 1), and the full text of the ROSES-2024 "Summary of Solicitation", may all be found NSPIRES at http://solicitation.nasaprs.com/ROSES2024. This grant provides funding to nonprofit organizations and public entities to help charter schools secure financing for acquiring, constructing, and renovating their facilities.

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity is to establish by cooperative agreement the National Center for Tribal Child Welfare Innovation and Advancement (Center). The Center will serve as the Childrens Bureaus (CB) primary vehicle for delivering effective, high-quality technical assistance (TA) to Title IV-B and Title IV-E American Indian and Alaska Native Nations. TA provided will enhance organizational and system performance, and improve outcomes for tribal children, youth, and families by honoring indigenous ways of knowing, and working collaboratively to ensure the preservation of tribal cultures.The Center will provide culturally relevant TA in these areas:1. Workforce Supports: Increase the knowledge, skills, and capacities of child welfare professionals in the tribal child welfare workforce2. The purpose of this initiative is to: 1.Support mining of SCORCH data to identify cell types, transcripts, enhancers, or transcriptional networks that play a role in HIV/ART or SUD molecular responses 2.Support functional validation studies (e.g. epigenomic or transcriptomic manipulation, high throughput secondary screening, etc.) to confirm or deny a biological role for data-mined cell types, transcripts, enhancers, or transcriptional networks in HIV/ART or SUD molecular responses 3.Provide foundational knowledge for understanding SUD and/or HIV/ART molecular mechanisms and to generate validated targets that could serve as a foundation for new SUD or HIV therapeutics (including NeuroHIV cognitive phenotypes)

The purpose of this supplemental funding is to strengthen organizational capacity to respond to the changing health care landscape and increase access to high quality family-centered HIV primary health care services for low income women, infants, children and youth (WICY) with HIV. The Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part D funds outpatient family-centered primary and specialty medical care for low-income women, infants, children, and youth with HIV. Part D funding also may be used to provide support services to people with HIV and their affected family members. The Enhancing HIV Care of Women, Infants, Children and Youth: Building Capacity through Communities of Practice program is a platform for RWHAP Part D recipients to increase the delivery of evidence-based interventions, evidence-informed interventions, and emerging interventions that enhance client outcomes; increase the skill level of the HIV workforce providing care and treatment to women, infants, children, and youth; and involve partner collaboration for dissemination of best practices. During the four-year initiative, which began in fiscal year (FY) 2023, the Communities of Practice are focusing on three areas: ■ Pre-conception counseling, including sexual health (2023–2024) ■ Trauma-informed care (2024–2025) ■ The transition from youth services to adult care (2025–2026)

This funding opportunity is designed to support researchers exploring how RNA modifications affect brain aging and contribute to Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), intends to publish a reissue Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to solicit applications for innovative, interactive research to answer significant scientific questions that are important for the mission of NINDS, via a synergistic collaboration between outstanding scientists who might not otherwise collaborate. The program project grant is designed to support research in which the funding of several interdependent highly meritorious projects as a group offers significant scientific advantages over support of these same projects as individual research grants.. This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects. The NOFO is expected to be published in April 2024 with an expected application due dates in May and September 2024. NINDS will not have any receipt dates after September 2024, thus ending the program. This NOFO will utilize the P01 activity code. Details of the planned NOFO are provided below.

This funding opportunity supports U.S.-based organizations in implementing and sustaining effective strategies to prevent substance misuse and use disorders, particularly targeting individuals at risk but not yet diagnosed with a substance use disorder.

The goal of this concept is to support exploratory research and preliminary interventions to address the interrelated and compounding contextual factors that contribute to substance use and HIV risk among sexual trafficking survivors. This would be accomplished through research that builds new interventions and models of care that can effectively engage ST survivors in care for SUD, HIV, trauma, and other mental health outcomes and addresses key structural and social determinants of health that contribute to risk for ST as well as barriers to and facilitators of escaping continued exploitation.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is soliciting innovative proposals to develop systemic drug delivery platforms for medical countermeasures (MCMs). The Hermes program is explicitly seeking transformative approaches enabling the development of delivery platforms with systemic biodistribution, exceptional endosomal escape efficiency, and minimal toxicity. Successful proposals will include a detailed description of the proposed delivery platform including 1) screening pipeline, 2) reporter systems for monitoring biodistribution and expression in animal models, 3) methods to monitor immunogenicity/toxicity, and 4) chosen therapeutic cargo and justification. Systemic delivery platforms developed under the Hermes effort will be transferred to U.S. Government stakeholders for further development.

The Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) intends to issue a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) entitled Energy Improvements in Rural or Remote Areas FY24.
