This funding opportunity is designed to develop and implement a comprehensive training program for coroners in New York State to improve their skills in investigating drug-related fatalities and enhance public health responses.

This funding opportunity provides financial support to local governments, conservation districts, non-profits, and organized private entities in Colorado for the management and eradication of noxious weeds.

BWC uses the Trench Safety Grant (TSG) Program to partner with Ohio employers to substantially reduce or eliminate injuries associated with trenching operations. The TSG does not fund equipment purchases for technical rescue operations. The program is available to eligible Ohio employers who wish to purchase the following qualified/allowed items: Shoring: aluminum, hydraulic, or other types of supports to prevent soil movement and cave-ins. Shielding: trench boxes or other types of supports to protect against soil cave-ins. As part of our Safety Grant programming, the TSG Program is available only to Ohio employers that perform trenching and excavating. Eligible employers may receive up to $12,000 for the duration of the TSG Program. This is a 4-to-1 matching grant, which means BWC will provide $4 for every $1 an employer invests in the intervention. The purpose of this solicitation is to fund applied research to increase California’s hydropower generation through precipitation enhancement (cloud seeding). Research funded by this solicitation will foster cost-effective, robust approaches to manage anticipated needs for zero-carbon, fast-ramping resources in the context of a rapidly evolving energy system and climate change.; The proposed research contributes to implementation of the Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC) 2021-2025 Investment Plan and responds to the strategic objective: “Inform California's Transition to an Equitable, Zero-Carbon Energy System that is Climate-Resilient and Meets Environmental Goals” (Chapter 7). Specifically, this solicitation supports the topic 44 within the Climate Resilience Initiative: “Integrating Climate Resilience in Electricity System Planning.” Hydroelectric power is an important source of zero-carbon, dispatchable power in California. It is a critical element of the state’s electricity system and in-state generation, providing peaking reserve, spinning reserve, and load following capacity, as well as transmission line support (Somani, et al., 2021). The percentage of the state’s electricity supplied by hydropower varies, as hydropower resources are strongly dependent on magnitude and timing of snowmelt runoff and rainfall. Between 2012 and 2021, hydropower (including in-state generation and imports) provided an average of 9 percent of California’s total energy mix (California Energy Commission 2022). As the state continues to contend with drought and other climate-driven impacts on water and hydropower resource availability, as well as develop more sustainable water management practices (California Water Action Plan, 2014), the proposed research will support opportunities for increasing and sustaining hydropower generation. Specifically, the research will contribute to more effective precipitation enhancement (cloud seeding) strategies.

When oil spills impact our natural, cultural and historic, and publicly owned resources, we work with other federal, state, and local agencies and tribes to restore those resources to pre-spill conditions. The Coastal Protection Fund (CPF) was created as a way to fund restoration and enhancement projects and studies with money collected through oil spill penalties and natural resource damage assessments. Since 1993, over 125 restoration projects have been funded by the Coastal Protection Fund Spills Program sub-accounts. Amount of funding available: Variable. Funding awards depend on revenue from damage assessment claims and oil spill penalties. Maximum available funding is usually between $100,000 and $400,000. Grant award limit: To maximize available funding, the typical grant award ranges from $10,000 to $50,000. Amount of matching funds required: There are no recipient match or cost-share requirements, since Spills CPF grants provide 100 percent of project Total Eligible Cost. Spills CPF grants also can help meet match requirements for other state grants.

The purpose of the Sickle Cell Follow-up grant program is to increase access to hematology centers to assure the availability of statewide services to families in Illinois who have a newborn or child with a sickling disorder or trait. The Arizona Water Protection Fund (AWPF) is a competitive state grant program that provides funding to interested parties for the development and implementation of measures to protect water of sufficient quality and quantity to maintain, enhance, and restore river and riparian resources throughout Arizona (including projects that benefit fish and wildlife that are dependent on these important resources), and measures to increase water availability and supply. Financial Notes: Matching funds are not required to be eligible for AWPF funding; however, projects that do include matching funds typically receive higher consideration.   Administrative costs must be limited to a maximum of 5% of the total AWPF project funds requested.  Subcontractors or consultants working on your project must also conform to the 5% administrative cost limit if you are paying them out of AWPF funds.   Payments are made on a cost reimbursement basis.  Appropriate documentation (e.g., receipts, invoices, reports, data, and photographs) will be required in order to receive reimbursement.   Adequate accounting practices and record keeping will be required.

Since 1986, the state’s Housing Trust Fund has invested over $2 billion in capital funding and helped build or preserve more than 58,600 affordable housing units statewide. The Washington Legislature makes biennial appropriations in the capital budget and directs the Department on how to invest the funds. The Housing Trust Fund provides capital financing through loans or grants to affordable housing projects through annual competitive application cycles.For over 25 years the Policy Advisory Team (PAT) has provided recommendations and advice on affordable housing policy for Commerce and the Affordable Housing Advisory Board (AHAB). RCW 43.185A.020 requires Commerce to develop and administer its affordable housing program with advice and input from AHAB. Commerce has made it a priority to make our community feedback more representative of communities most impacted by the housing crisis and discrimination in housing. Incorporating the voices of community members, and particularly centering voices of communities that experience marginalization and discrimination in access to housing, was a priority throughout a consultant-led process, which involved multiple public meetings across 2023. As a result of this process, Commerce recognizes the need to improve engagement holistically, and is presenting a proposal that replaces the current PAT. This proposal focuses on the following strategies to increase transparency of decision making by incorporating input from diverse stakeholders with reasonable timelines, presentations and multiple feedback channels.

This funding opportunity provides financial support to Vermont businesses and organizations involved in agriculture, food production, and forest products, helping them improve their sustainability and viability.

This grant opportunity allows Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), non-profit organizations, consumer advocacy organizations, and more to apply for funding to implement projects to improve the lives of SNF residents. Examples of projects include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing methods to increase Person-Centered Care, Infection Control Training, implementing technology to prevent resident falls, and more. The primary purpose of the LOFFAP is to provide a source of funding for landowners and lessees of a livestock operation who require reconstruction assistance as a result of infrastructure damage caused by a wildfire and that wildfire's associated flooding. The Manual is designed to assist applicants with the preparation of applications for grant monies from the LOFFAP FY 2024 grant cycles.  Section I of the Manual provides general information on the AZDA’s LOFFAP granting process.  Section II contains information describing how to complete a grant application.  Section III contains information on the process of grant awards and Grant Agreements.  Section IV contains all necessary grant application forms and instructions.  Section V contains appendices A – E.   Financial Notes: The source of funding for LOFFAP is the Livestock Operator Fire and Flood Assistance Fund, established under A.R.S. § 3-109.03. The legislature has appropriated $10,000,000.00 to the Fund, of which an amount of $9,500,000.00 will be available for grant awards. Multiple grants may be awarded. Grant of LOFFAP funds is limited as follows: a. No more than 50% of the monies in the Fund may be awarded with respect to infrastructure projects in any one county in one fiscal year. b. A grant cannot exceed 50% of the total cost of the grantee’s infrastructure project cost as a result of that wildfire’s associated flooding, including all amounts received from other sources, whether from the grantee or from other state and federal programs.  Grantees will be required to sign a consent to allow sharing of information between AZDA and other state and federal programs.  Sources of other funding include but are not limited to: i.
