The initiative aims to support ongoing statewide collective impact efforts and implementation of three Veteran initiatives focused on ending Veteran homelessness, assisting with employment barriers, and providing a pathway to higher levels of care for Veterans. The grant will provide financial and technical assistance to support homeless Veterans in Maricopa County and throughout the state, as well as facilitate collaborations with new partners to serve Veterans in need. Project Objectives: - Host the Maricopa County StandDown, serving over 2,000 homeless and at-risk Veterans annually. - Provide financial assistance for bridge housing or mitigation throughout the year in Maricopa County. - Provide financial and technical assistance to 11 StandDowns throughout the state. - Assist Veterans with obtaining employment through referrals from employment service providers. - Lead a multi-agency team to ensure programmatic goals are met for homeless Veterans.
