Organizations with previous experience and a capacity of working with educational institutions on a national level will be given priority. This experience should be documented in the organizations proposal.

LIGHT intends to shine a light on the lymphatic system, illuminating the unseen both literally via novel diagnostic approaches and figuratively through insight gained into the critical role the lymphatic system plays in health as well as its impacts when dysfunctional. LIGHT aims to improve the lives of tens of millions of Americans by creating agile tools that are scalable, accessible, accurate and clinically useful to detect lymphatic structure and function. Multiple diagnostic technologies will enable targeted interventions that result in better patient outcomes and reduced treatment costs, and will advance our understanding of lymphatic dysfunction, a key factor in the pathophysiology of many important diseases. Signs and symptoms of lymphatic dysfunction do not manifest until the disease has progressed, and current assessment tools neither adequately appraise lymphatic anatomy nor measure lymphatic function. The Government reserves the right to select for negotiation all, some, one, or none of the proposals received in response to this ISO. If warranted, portions of resulting awards may be segregated into prepriced options. In the event the Government desires to award only portions of a proposal, negotiations will commence upon selection notification. The Government reserves the right to fund proposals in phases with options for continued work, as applicable. The Government reserves the right to request any additional, necessary documentation to support the negotiation and award process. Initially proposers should consider primary lymphatic 5 diseases as the targeted disease state; however, consideration of other chronic conditions associated with lymphatic dysfunction is encouraged. Specifically excluded are proposals that represent an evolutionary or incremental advance in the current state of the art, including clinical trials of an otherwise developed product. Additionally, proposals directed towards policy changes, traditional education and training, or center coordination, formation, or development, and construction of physical infrastructure are outside the scope of the ARPA-H mission.

Executive Summary: The U.S. Embassy Colombo, Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) is pleased to announce a funding opportunity through the Public Diplomacy grants program to support participation of Sri Lankans in regional and other international exchange and learning opportunities. Background: U.S. Embassy Colombo supports a variety of exchange and learning opportunities for Sri Lankans to foster skills and capacity in areas of leadership, community engagement, civic discourse, entrepreneurship media, social media, and technology. The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a project to increase basic access to justice in rural regions and for vulnerable populations throughout the Central African Republic.Central Africans in remote and conflict-affected communities continue to lack basic access to justice services and require assistance relating to crimes against vulnerable populations, such as children, elderly, widows, and orphans, LGBTQI+, and victims of sexual- and gender-based violence (SGBV). Despite substantial progress in recent years, CARs justice institutions lack the infrastructure and resources to provide legal services to a substantial section of the countrys population. CAR remote populations possess limited knowledge of how court system operations, available legal protections, and difficulty accessing courts with limited functionality. The absence of accessible, functional, and credible justice institutions has a profound impact on the lives of marginalized Central African populations as the risk of physical violence remains.

The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a project to strengthen community policing practices in Uzbekistan. The Government of Uzbekistan has continued its broad reform efforts that began in earnest in 2017, including efforts to modernize the countrys security services. Despite reforms, public trust in security forces remains low, and allegations of corruption, unresponsiveness, and abuse persist. Civil society, which plays an important role in mobilizing citizenry to advocate for better community conditions, remains fragmented and generally lacks support and social capital to push for systemic change. This project will both strengthen Uzbek civil society organizations as they engage in community-based advocacy while also helping local government actors, especially the Ministry of Internal Affairs, develop protocols and procedures to be more transparent, responsive, and communicative in their relations with local communities. The Michigan Office of the Environmental Justice Public Advocate in the Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) offers the Environmental Justice (EJ) Impact Grant program.
