Funding and Duration: Grant amounts for the conventional program range from $100,000 to $500,000. The maximum grant duration is two (2) years, eight (8) months, and grant funds cannot be expended before November 1, 2025, or after June 30, 2028.   Projects submitted through the Additional Assistance for Historically Underrepresented Organizations (Additional Assistance) Program will range from $100,000 to $250,000. Program requirements and submission deadlines differ for Additional Assistance Program applicants. The NIH INvestigation of Co-occurring conditions across the Lifespan to Understand Down syndromE (INCLUDE) Project seeks to improve health and quality-of-life for individuals with Down syndrome. This FOA is intended to support meritorious small research projects focused on analyses of genomics other -omics, clinical and phenotypic datasets related to Down syndrome research, with an emphasis on elucidating the underlying etiologies of risk and resiliencies to co-occurring health conditions. Development of approaches, tools, or algorithms appropriate for analyzing data relevant to Down syndrome and facilitating data sharing within the research community through the INCLUDE Data Hub may also be proposed.

To equip California youth with knowledge and skills to live tobacco-, vape-, and nicotine-free by providing leadership and guidance for the development and implementation of school-based education, intervention, counseling, and youth development activities.;  The Tier 1, Cohort T Grant is available for a three-year period from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027.  The grant award period is for three years; however, if funded, one Grant Award Notification (GAN) will be issued.  County offices of education (COEs), school districts, direct-funded charter schools, and consortia of qualifying local educational agencies (LEAs) serving grades six through twelve (6–12) in California are eligible to apply if they meet the eligibility requirements. To receive TUPE grant funding, all TUPE grantees are required to: (1) adopt tobacco-free campus policies that prohibit the use of products containing tobacco and nicotine, including, but not limited to, smokeless tobacco, snuff, chew, clove cigarettes, and electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), and (2) conduct the district-level CHKS Core Module with the subgroup population of students in grades five or six, and seven, nine, and eleven.

Purpose of Program: The purpose of the Technical Assistance on State Data Collection program is to improve the capacity of States to meet IDEA data collection and reporting requirements. Funding for the program is authorized under section 611(c)(1) of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), which gives the Secretary authority to reserve not more than one-half of one percent of the amounts appropriated under Part B for each fiscal year to provide TA activities, where needed, to improve the capacity of States to meet the data collection and reporting requirements under Parts B and C of IDEA. The maximum amount the Secretary may reserve under this set-aside for any fiscal year is $25,000,000, cumulatively adjusted by the rate of inflation. Section 616(i) of IDEA requires the Secretary to review the data collection and analysis capacity of States to ensure that data and information determined necessary for implementation of sections 616 and 642 of IDEA are collected, analyzed, and accurately reported to the Secretary. It also requires the Secretary to provide TA, where needed, to improve the capacity of States to meet the data collection requirements, which include the data collection and reporting requirements in sections 616 and 618 of IDEA. In addition, the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024, Public Law 118-47, gives the Secretary authority to use funds reserved under section 611(c) of IDEA to administer and carry out other services and activities to improve data collection, coordination, quality, and use under Parts B and C of the IDEA. The Community Services Agency (CSA) Partnership Grant program, initiated by the Board of County Commissioners, addresses human service needs in Seminole County, Florida. These top needs include Childcare, Utility Assistance, Mental Health Services, Rental Subsidy/Assistance, Homeless Services, Housing for Homeless Families, Food, and Transitional Housing. The program aims to achieve measurable results by funding initiatives that directly address these identified critical areas within the community. Eligibility criteria for the grant ensure that funds are directed to well-established and responsible non-profit organizations. Agencies must be chartered or authorized to do business in Florida for charitable purposes, possess a 501(c)(3) tax exemption for a minimum of three years, and demonstrate that their services benefit Seminole County residents and address community needs. Priority funding is extended to agencies that align with the Community Needs Assessment. Further requirements include having an uncompensated governing board free of conflicts of interest, established bylaws and policies covering management, audits, fiscal procedures, nepotism, and conflict of interest, and at least one year of experience in providing the requested service. Agencies must also be licensed and accredited. Expected outcomes include a significant improvement in access to essential services for Seminole County residents, particularly in the high-priority areas identified. Measurable results would involve tracking the number of residents served, the types of services provided, and the overall impact on community well-being in the targeted areas. The program strictly defines ineligible activities, such as capital improvement, construction, property or home purchases, and administrative expenses, to ensure that funds are maximized for direct service delivery. Funding limits are also in place, with awards not exceeding twenty-five percent of an agency's prior year's expenditures, based on their IRS 990 form, to promote sustainable and diverse funding for recipient organizations.
