The U.S. Embassy Luxembourg invites proposals from non-governmental organizations, think tanks, government institutions, academic institutions, and individuals for programs strengthening the bilateral ties between the United States and Luxembourg and Engaging Students in English, including, but not limited to: Programs focused on strengthening specific English language skills or professional English capacity of students, such as public-speaking, debate, theater/drama Programs that enhance and promote the English-teaching profession and community, such as trainings, workshops, conferences, or presentations for English educators in Luxembourg. English-language programs for underprivileged groups including but not limited to patrons of organizations, such as shelters for refugees, women, abuse victims or childrens organizations. Educational programs such as English language camps, academic competitions, international exchanges, conferences, workshops, courses, exhibits, hackathons, online projects, or performances. Projects that share American best practices in English-language education by bringing U.S. experts to engage with students and teachers in Luxembourg. All programs must engage Luxembourg audiences. The Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S Embassy in Azerbaijan is pleased to announce an open competition for Azerbaijani alumni of U.S. exchange programs to submit applications to implement a series of Alumni capacity building and networking events under the Alumni Outreach and Capacity Building Fund. The activities should take place over calendar years 2024 and 2025. Proposals should include the below components: Alumni Capacity Building: A series of training sessions, bootcamps, or seminars on soft skills development and community engagement. Youth Alumni Training: An in-person training and networking program in Azerbaijan for recently returned youth alumni to build their skills and remain engaged with Embassy and alumni network. Annual Alumni Reception: A large networking event for alumni. Alumni Summit: A two-day event to develop capacity while showcasing the work of our alumni through exhibits, panels, workshops, and speakers. Thematic meetups: A series of at least four engagements bringing together alumni in specific fields to build capacity, strengthen networks, and encourage them to collaborate across exchange program and age cohorts.

The Budget Act of 2022 (Senate Bill 178, Skinner) and Government Code section 12100.140 et seq. established an Export Training program within GO-Biz. The program is one-time funding for competitive grants to service providers to develop or scale export training programs and curricula. Respondents to this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) must demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and ability to provide such training. The key purpose of this program is to fund export training programming that supports California small business owners, provides access to export services for underserved businesses, advances immigrant integration and supports immigrant entrepreneurs, and includes training programs in languages other than English wherever possible. Additionally, this program may consider funding export training programs that are aimed at developing an export-capable workforce should there be sufficient program funding. Organizations are strongly encouraged to collaborate on applications and to utilize each other's resources effectively. Program Objectives:• Equip new-to-export businesses with comprehensive knowledge of global markets and essential international trade knowledge.• Provide ongoing assistance to current exporters, aiding them in sustaining and broadening their presence in foreign markets.• Cultivate a fresh cohort of businesses eligible for the California State Trade Expansion Program, preparing for participation in export promotion activities, including trade shows.

The Eagle Arts Advisory Committee (EAAC) grant program aims to enrich the City of Eagle's history and aesthetically enhance its sense of place. This is achieved by responsibly promoting the arts for the benefit of the greater Eagle community and by introducing new opportunities that meet the cultural needs of a larger, more diverse community. The overarching goal is to establish the City of Eagle as a destination city in Southwest Idaho through artistic and cultural offerings. The EAAC's mission aligns with this by actively seeking to grow artistic opportunities, inspire community pride, and provide reasons for surrounding communities to converge in Eagle to enjoy a variety of artistic experiences. The target beneficiaries of this grant program include artistic and cultural events & organizations, individual artists, community programs, and educational opportunities that directly benefit the Eagle community. This includes supporting all areas of the arts, such as visual, performing, musical, and literary disciplines, thereby addressing the cultural needs of a broad and diverse populace. The program prioritizes projects or education that will enhance the artistic atmosphere and musical environment in the Eagle Community. Preference is given to non-profit 501(c)(3) applicants. The EAAC focuses on funding requests that do not exceed 50% of the total project budget, with a maximum of 20% of requested funding allocated for salaries. This ensures that the majority of the grant funds are directly applied to project implementation and community benefit. Expected outcomes include an increase in artistic opportunities within the City of Eagle, a heightened sense of community pride among residents, and an increase in visitors from surrounding communities drawn to Eagle's diverse artistic offerings. GEC seeks to understand through quantified and qualified research the scope and scale of foreign propaganda and disinformation occurring in games and game-adjacent platforms in Eastern Europe.
