PAS Hong Kong and Macau invites proposals for programs that strengthen cultural ties between the United States and Hong Kong and the United States and Macau through cultural and exchange programming that highlights shared values and promotes bilateral cooperation. The U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong & Macau Public Affairs Section (PAS) is pleased to announce that we are accepting proposals for the Grants Program. This annual notice of funding opportunity outlines our funding priorities and areas of interest, as well as procedures for submitting requests for funding. Please note that this notice supplements specific notices of funding opportunities that may be posted throughout the year. Please carefully follow all instructions below. This funding opportunity provides financial support for research and management projects focused on conserving Chinook and Chum salmon in the Yukon River, with an emphasis on community engagement and capacity building among local residents.

PAS Paramaribo invites proposals from NGOs, individuals and government educational institutions for programs that contribute to the improvement of social, economic or environmental conditions in Suriname and which further one or more of the priorities listed below. This funding opportunity supports innovative research and development in biological technologies that enhance national security, targeting universities, nonprofits, small businesses, and industry participants, particularly those with commercial potential.

This funding opportunity provides financial support for a wide range of organizations and individuals to establish new forests, restore degraded areas, and enhance existing forest ecosystems in New York State.

The UST Cleanup Fund provides a means for petroleum UST owners and operators to meet the federal and state requirements of maintaining financial responsibility to pay for damages arising from unauthorized releases from their petroleum USTs. This program provides financial assistance to landowners and agricultural producers in Central Texas for restoring native grasslands and enhancing wildlife habitats through approved conservation practices.

This program provides early-stage startups in Cincinnati with free mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to help them grow and prepare for investment.

Seabird Monitoring and Predator Management at Kokee Air Force Station, Kauai - All tasks associated with this requirement have an avian and/or predator control focus and shall be conducted on the island of Kauai. The execution of this project assists the United States Air Force towards compliance with the U.S. Fish Wildlife Services Biological Opinion and the subsequent remediation efforts related to island seabirds. Fort Wainwright Alaska and Donnelly Training Area Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance Support, Fort Wainwright, Alaska - The primary objective of this requirement is to implement the Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) to provide healthy and resilient environments that are sustainable, high-quality settings for military training and to protect and enhance biological diversity and ecological health on all Department of Defense (DoD) lands, and to ensure compliance with all environmental laws and regulations. This funding opportunity provides financial support to Pennsylvania farmers, agricultural processors, and service providers for adopting innovative technologies and sustainable practices to improve productivity and environmental stewardship.

The Miller / Packan Film Fund, financed through the Rogovy Foundation, supports documentaries that Educate, Inspire, and Enrich. Each year, grants totaling $200,000 are awarded to between eight and twelve filmmakers. The fund operates an open call submission process, and awards are announced bi-annually. Each grant is one-time only and offered in amounts up to $25,000. Submissions for the 2024 Summer Awards are accepted until May 15th, 2024. The fund seeks projects that address social issues in the subject categories of Education, the Environment, and Civics. Filmmakers must be at least 18 years old and the film must be feature-length (at least 70 minutes). International projects with global audience appeal are eligible. The project must have IRS 501(c)(3) status or a Fiscal Sponsor. Non-English language films are eligible but must have English subtitles. Student films and completed films are ineligible. The application requires a narrative description of the project, logline, story summary/synopsis, topic summary, artistic approach, project stage information, key creative personnel bios, audience and distribution strategies, financial information including fundraising strategy and grant impact details, visual sample or rough cut of the film with description and director's prior work sample if available, contact information of the applicant(s), comprehensive line item expense budget including a top sheet summary and detailed breakdown of all expenses from development through release in U.S. dollars using a provided template or similar format, statement of interest explaining how the project relates to the Ideals and Values of the Rogovy Foundation. The selection process is conducted by the staff of the Rogovy Film Fund based on criteria such as compelling story premise aligned with Fund's Ideals and Values and strength of proposal.
