Completed interviews, along with biographical and release forms, must be submitted by August 15, 2025. Fellows will also participate in group meetings, office hours, and an online wrap-up event in September 2025 to share experiences and feedback. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to archives, oral history, or memory work and an interest in improving cross-neurotype communication. Priority will be given to individuals from underrepresented communities, including people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, disabled people, and those facing financial hardship. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, U.S. citizens, or legally authorized to work in the United States. Fellows will receive $3,000 in compensation, distributed in three payments: upon signing the fellowship contract, after completing the workshop, and upon submitting the required interviews and materials. Interview participants will also receive $300 as compensation for their contributions. Fellows will have access to comprehensive support, including tools, templates, guidance, and accommodations tailored to their needs. This program is designed to foster better understanding of Autistic culture and narratives while equipping memory workers with tools to preserve and amplify these stories.
