OJP is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community. With this solicitation, BJA seeks to provides funding to states and units of local government with existing crime laboratories that conduct DNA analysis to solve crimes and protect public safety by maximizing the effective utilization of DNA technology to process DNA samples for entry into the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS).

Grant Opportunity: Foreign Policy Summer Research Fellowship Grants Funder: Charles Koch Foundation (CKF) Award Details: Grants of up to $25,000 will be awarded for research projects that challenge conventional wisdom on U.S. grand strategy and provide alternative visions for U.S. foreign policy. The CMC will be responsible for coordinating with the Consortium Steering Committee (CSC) and Consortium Executive Committee (CEC) to prioritize, propose, conduct, and analyze basic research and clinical trials, and developing a roadmap to translate basic science knowledge into evidence-based treatments for ASUD. Clinical trials that include military and Veteran populations are encouraged.

Supports research on the magnetized plasma envelope of the outer atmosphere, including energization by the solar wind; the origin of geomagnetic storms and substorms; the population by solar and ionospheric sources; the origin of electric fields; the coupling among the magnetosphere, ionosphere, and atmosphere; and waves and instabilities in the natural plasma.
