Community Grants Fall Round applications for projects beginning after December 1: The Community Foundation of Greene County's General Community Grants are funded through the Field of Interest Funds and discretionary funds such as The Good For Greene Fund and The Francis “Bob” Bradford Fund. These grants support projects aligning with the goals of specific funds, aimed at enhancing the quality of life in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Projects can span various sectors including animal welfare, environmental protection, arts and culture, community development, education, health, and human needs. The award for a Community Grant does not exceed $5,000. The Delaware Division of the Arts offers the TranspARTation Grant Program, designed to support the travel expenses for Delaware students to attend high-quality arts events, performances, and exhibits at arts and cultural institutions and venues within the state. This initiative aims to enhance students' exposure to and participation in the arts by covering costs related to buses, fuel, parking, and tolls. Funding is available for nonprofit K-12 public, private, or charter schools in Delaware, including Pre-K programs affiliated with public schools. Eligible schools may apply for one grant per school year, with Title I schools eligible for additional grants subject to available funding. Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis, starting August 15 of the current fiscal year and require submission at least 6 weeks before the intended field trip date. Grants are reimbursed to schools post-event upon receipt of the Final Report.

The SFY 2025 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Grant, funded by the State of Maryland through the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy, aims to support the investigation and prosecution of internet crimes against children. FWP is offering grants for the 2024-2025 school year to Montana outlying school districts to facilitate visits to the Montana WILD Education Center in Helena, MT. These grants aim to cover transportation and/or lodging costs to enable schools in remote areas to access the center's educational programs. Grants are available for students in grades 4th to 12th, with priority given to schools located 50 miles or more (one-way) from Helena, and additional support for lodging expenses offered to those over 150 miles away. The maximum reimbursement is capped at $2,500 per school, with lodging rates set at $30 per student. Applications are due by May 31, 2024, with notifications to follow a week after the deadline. Should funds remain post-initial distribution, they will be allocated on a first-come basis. Schools are required to engage in pre-visit educational activities and encouraged to undertake a community-based project post-visit.

Expected outcomes include a more vibrant and connected community life, more effective neighborhood organizations, visually appealing and well-maintained public spaces, and a measurable increase in residents' sense of safety and well-being. The program anticipates awarding two maximum grants of $5,000 each per period, with additional microgrants ranging from $500 to $1,000, totaling $25,000 per fiscal year. Measurable results will be gauged through the documentation of events with photos and sign-in sheets, the provision of receipts for all expenditures, and the overall completion of approved projects by the June 30, 2025, deadline.

The SFY 2025 Community Grant Program Fund (CGPF), managed by the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy (previously the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention Youth and Victim Services), aims to support local law enforcement and local government agencies in Maryland in developing community outreach and violence intervention programs. This initiative is designed to enhance public safety by fostering improved relationships between law enforcement and community members, particularly the youth. The CGPF seeks proposals for programs that offer recreational or athletic opportunities, improve resident-law enforcement relations, or otherwise benefit the community. Eligible activities may include police/community events, programs for School Resource Officers, partnerships with community groups, mentorship programs, and established community programs provided by outside organizations. The grant anticipates awarding 15-25 grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000, with the total funding up to $500,000.

This award is to support community development and resilience with geospatial data and digital technology by engaging university-aged youth. The activities anticipated as part of this award will add valuable, free and openly accessible data to digital ecosystems of lower and middle income countries, which in turn can be used by USAID programs and humanitarian assistance activities. The award will specifically focus on youth training, geospatial data collection, and analysis to help communities address local development challenges. Activities will also engage marginalized populations to ensure representation of the diversity of partner country populations. USAID anticipates awarding one to three grants and/or cooperative agreements under this Addendum. Issuance of this Addendum does not constitute an award or commitment on the part of the U.S. Government to make an award, nor does it commit the U.S. Government to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of a Concept Note or Application(s).
