USAID/Mozambique intends to design a new Activity - USAID EntoLocal - that will contribute to support the National Malaria Control Program and the National Institute of Health in planning and implementing entomological monitoring, and the provision of technical assistance for proven life-saving malaria vector control. This is anticipated to be a five (5) year award 2024 - 2029, with a total estimated value of approximately $15 million.The purpose of this communication is to obtain industry comment and input on the above-mentioned activity. The U.S. Geological Surveys Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center (NOROCK) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner for research to assess distribution and threats to at-risk amphibians in the western USA. This research will focus specifically on how threats such as drought, non-native predators, habitat loss or transformation, environmental degradation, and pathogens are affecting the distribution and abundance of amphibians in the West. Field work will occur in the Northwest, Southwest, Rocky Mountains, and Great Plains, will occur primarily on BLM, NPS, USFWS, and USFS lands, and will focus on many species that are priorities to the Department of Interior and other partner agencies or stakeholders.

The U.S. Embassy Nassaus Public Diplomacy (PD) section announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to develop and organize a Regional Alumnae Summit for the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) network throughout the Caribbean. The PD section invites proposals from non-profit organizations, civil society organizations, and U.S. government alumni organizations to design and organize a summit to connect small and medium businesses of AWE Alumnae from across the Caribbean during a 2-day Summit in Nassau, The Bahamas in Spring 2025. This Summit will also provide a forum for AWE Alumnae to expand their professional network, share best practices and gain broader market access. In consultation with the U.S. Embassy Public Diplomacy team, the awardee is expected to organize all logistics for the Summit to include, but not limited to several deliverables.
