This program provides essential financial support to small businesses in Pennsylvania that have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, helping them access working capital to sustain their operations.

The Department of Forestry and Fire Management – Urban and Community Forestry program is excited to announce the next round for the Tree Resource Enhancement and Engagement (TREE) Grant Program! This program is open ONLY to currently recognized Tree City USA, Tree Campus USA, and Tree Campus K-12 program participants and community organizations directly serving recognized Tree Cities and Campuses. The purpose of this program is to support the management, improvement, and/or conservation of community forests by recognized Tree Cities and Tree Campuses. Funds may be used to promote and enhance the quality of Arizona's urban and community forests, and may also be used for engaging decision-makers through urban forest management initiatives. The goals of this program are to: Assist recognized Arizona Tree Cities and Tree Campuses in initiating or significantly improving their efforts to care for the community forest, including assistance for achieving canopy cover goals Encourage recognized Tree Cities and Tree Campuses to develop and maintain a sustainable, balanced, and comprehensive community forestry program that is based on a current tree inventory and managed with the guidance of a community forestry professional Promote community forestry benefits through the proper management and care of trees in Arizona's recognized Tree City and Tree Campus communities, including through harvesting programs Eligible activities, listed in order of priority, are: Development and adoption of a written community tree management plan or community readiness plan Tree planting projects as part of a comprehensive management program to meet state, county, or community canopy coverage goals Community tree inventory support Removal of hazardous trees Pruning according to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A300 specifications (without topping) Municipal tree ordinance development by a certified forestry professional Training of city employees and volunteers to improve community forestry practices Initial costs of certification for in-house employees by the International Society of Arboriculture Other activities that meet needs identified in the Arizona Forest Action Plan All projects involving tree planting must include a five-year maintenance plan. All trees purchased must meet the American Standard for Nursery Stock and Arizona Nursery Association standards. Planted trees must be guaranteed for one year after planting. All hazardous trees must be identified by a certified arborist, forester, or similarly qualified person. Eligible costs include personnel/labor, operating costs and supplies, travel, contractual services, equipment, and indirect costs. Eligibility is limited to currently recognized Tree City USA and Tree Campus USA program participants or community organizations directly serving Tree City/Campus participants. Financial Notes: Match Notes: Applicants must provide at least 50 percent of the total project cost via nonfederal matching contributions. Matching contributions may include: Cash Services Volunteer time at the local market rate Equipment usage In-kind contributions For projects involving tree planting, a five-year maintenance plan must be funded by the applicant's own resources. Matching funds may not be provided by other funding programs administered by the federal government. Funds used to match another program may not be used.   Funding Notes: An estimated $8,000 is available to support awards ranging from $1,500 to $8,000 through this program. Awards typically range from $2,000 to $4,000. Funding will be provided on a reimbursement basis. Project periods will begin on September 1, 2024 and end on June 30, 2025. Final reimbursement requests must be submitted by July 31, 2025. Planted trees must be guaranteed for one year after planting. Award notifications are expected to be issued after August 6th, 2024. Up to 10 percent of funding may be used for indirect costs, inluding overhead/administrative costs. Funds may not be used to purchase capital equipment costing over $5,000; however, funds may be used to rent equipment. Funds may not be used for: Ordinary operational expenses Purchasing food or beverages Previously funded projects Projects that have already started or are ongoing

Private entities must be authorized to conduct business in the State of California, by either being registered with the California Secretary of State as a business located in California, being registered as a foreign (out–of–state or out–of–country) business or processing a business license issued by a California city, county, or city and county. Private, non-profit entities, in addition to being registered with the California Secretary of State, must also be registered with the California Department of Justice, and appear on their Registry of Charitable Trusts. If a non-profit entity is excluded from registering with the Department of Justice, proof must be provided with the application. Eligible applicants include: Collection Programs (CP) that are building workforce development for innovative redemption models. The Collection Program must be certified and in good standing with CalRecycle. Workforce Development innovative recycling redemption models include:• Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) • Bag Drop Projects Available Funds• $ 5,000,000 is available for this grant cycle, fiscal year 2022–23, subject to funding availability. • $ 750,000 is the minimum available for individual grant awards.• $ 2,500,000 is the maximum available for individual grant awards.

This program provides financial assistance to Maryland-based businesses, non-profits, and farms to enhance their energy efficiency beyond existing standards.

The Idaho Water Resource Board (IWRB) offers grants for flood management, including stream channel repair, improvement, flood risk reduction, and flood prevention. These grants are competitive and statewide, available to flood control districts, drainage districts, irrigation districts, canal companies, municipalities, counties, and other public entities. Applicants must show evidence of flood damage or risk and outline proposed repairs or improvements. Applications are accepted annually until the first Friday of June, with the next deadline on June 7, 2024. Grant renewed every year. Grant Annual deadline: 1st Friday of June

The State Planning and Research Program funds are federal funds for States' statewide planning and research activities. The funds are used to establish a cooperative, continuous, and comprehensive framework for making transportation investment decisions and to carryout transportation research activities throughout the State. Please note: when other CSFA program funds are used as a match (typically 1437), they will be awarded/recorded under the specific CSFA program such as this one. Matching funding totals should be reduced from the matching program and added to the specific program.

Expected outcomes include the preparation of surface water projects for future funding through the Delaware Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund (WPCRLF). Measurable results will be seen in the successful completion of planning, preliminary engineering, and feasibility analyses, leading to actionable project designs ready for loan applications. The funding, capped at $50,000 with a 1:1 cash match requirement, is designed to jumpstart projects, laying the groundwork for significant water quality improvements across Delaware. The grant duration is two years, emphasizing a focused and efficient planning period to achieve these preparatory outcomes.

The Maine Tourism Development & Management Grant is designed to foster tourism development, education, and management projects in Maine that aim to enhance collaboration among key destination organizations, create sustainable growth within the tourism sector, and provide qualified technical and consulting assistance. The grant supports projects that align with the Maine Office of Tourism's Destination Management Plan and prioritize sustainable and inclusive tourism. Applications are accepted annually, with grants ranging from $15,000 to $40,000. The Maine Department of Education invites applications to fund climate education professional development for local education providers, with priority for historically underserved communities. The program increases student access to current environmental and climate education by supporting schools that have lacked instruction, partnerships, or field opportunities. Allowable costs include hiring or contracting program staff, stipends or incentives for teachers and staff beyond compensated time, curriculum and instructional material development, supplies, space rental, and administrative expenses. The department plans multiple awards with typical award size around 750,000 dollars, subject to final budgeting. Projects should demonstrate expanded access and clear benefits for priority student populations. Eligible applicants are local education providers, including school administrative units, schools in unorganized territories, career and technical education regions and programs, and schools funded by the Bureau of Indian Education. The Ethanol Blender Pump Grant, offered by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, aims to assist South Dakota fuel retailers in promoting the state's ethanol production. The grant provides funding for the installation of ethanol blender pumps at gas stations, allowing motorists to choose their preferred gasoline-ethanol blends. This program provides financial assistance to private marinas, boatyards, and yacht clubs for the construction of sewage pumpout and dump stations to help reduce pollution from recreational boating.

Under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act ("IIJA"), the Department of Energy (DOE) provides formula grants to states and Indian Tribes for projects aimed at improving the resilience of the electric grid against disruptions caused by extreme weather, wildfires, or natural disasters. The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) manages the application process, expense reviews, and reimbursements for eligible entities, with funding provided on a reimbursement basis. The program partners with the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to establish program objectives and metrics for resilience investments. The DOE will allocate $459 million annually over five years, with Texas expecting approximately $150 million. Eligible entities include electric grid operators, electricity storage operators, electricity generators, transmission owners or operators, distribution providers, and fuel suppliers. Preferred resilience measures include weatherization technologies, fire-resistant technologies, monitoring and control technologies, vegetation management, and adaptive protection technologies.
