This program provides matching funds to state, tribal, and local governments in Montana for developing and improving outdoor recreation facilities like parks and sports fields.

The SFY 2025 Adult Day Reporting Center Grant Program (DRCE), funded by the State of Maryland through the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy, aims to support local jurisdictions in implementing or enhancing Adult Day Reporting Centers. These centers provide community-based services and treatment to individuals under pretrial or probation supervision or those sentenced directly to a Day Reporting Center. The primary goal is to reduce recidivism, jail and prison populations, and corrections-related costs by offering a comprehensive range of services, including counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, drug treatment, educational remediation, job training, and intensive supervision. The program targets non-violent individuals and focuses on addressing criminogenic needs such as substance use, anger management, employment, education, and life skills. The Governor's Office anticipates awarding up to three grants, ranging between $90,000 to $270,000, to support these efforts.

The Delaware Division of the Arts offers the TranspARTation Grant Program, designed to support the travel expenses for Delaware students to attend high-quality arts events, performances, and exhibits at arts and cultural institutions and venues within the state. This initiative aims to enhance students' exposure to and participation in the arts by covering costs related to buses, fuel, parking, and tolls. Funding is available for nonprofit K-12 public, private, or charter schools in Delaware, including Pre-K programs affiliated with public schools. Eligible schools may apply for one grant per school year, with Title I schools eligible for additional grants subject to available funding. Applications are considered on a first-come, first-served basis, starting August 15 of the current fiscal year and require submission at least 6 weeks before the intended field trip date. Grants are reimbursed to schools post-event upon receipt of the Final Report.

The SFY 2025 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Grant, funded by the State of Maryland through the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy, aims to support the investigation and prosecution of internet crimes against children. The grant also assists in the operations of the Maryland Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. These efforts are part of the Office's broader objective to reduce victimization of Maryland's children by protecting them from abuse or neglect, addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and mitigating the impact of childhood trauma. Additionally, the grant promotes coordinated criminal justice strategies at the State and local levels, enhancing collaboration among local law enforcement agencies and Child Advocacy Centers with the Maryland ICAC Task Force.

This program provides financial assistance to shooting clubs, local governments, private organizations, and school districts in Montana to develop and improve shooting ranges, promoting recreational shooting sports across the state.

The SFY 2025 Police Accountability Community and Transparency (PACT) Grant Program, funded by the State of Maryland and managed by the Governor's Office of Crime Prevention and Policy, aims to support law enforcement in developing effective accountability procedures to enhance lawfulness, legitimacy, and community relations. This initiative seeks to implement criminal justice reform measures, foster new community-law enforcement partnerships, provide relevant training, and introduce technology to build trust and transparency. The program encourages the adoption of best practices in law enforcement to improve public safety across Maryland. Eligible applicants include state and local law enforcement agencies, local State’s Attorney’s Offices, Maryland’s Attorney General’s Offices, higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, and faith-based organizations.

The Readiness and Environmental Protection Integration (REPI) Program, combined with funds from the National Park Service Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), provides a total of $40 million in funding. This initiative aims to safeguard the nation's military readiness, bolster relationships with communities, preserve the environment, and enhance resilience to climate change impacts on military installations and surrounding communities. It focuses on the acquisition of land and/or development of new outdoor public recreation facilities near military installations or airspace, promoting compatible land uses and preventing incompatible development. The initiative underscores the importance of partnerships, particularly between the Department of Defense (DoD) military bases and local communities, to achieve its goals. Projects must be situated within a designated REPI Partnership Opportunity Area and should serve both the general public and military families, highlighting the program's dual focus on enhancing outdoor recreation and supporting military missions.

The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is accepting applications for the 2024 Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant round from March 12 to May 7, 2024. Approximately $1.9 million in RTP funding is available. The RTP, funded by the Federal Highway Administration and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, is a federal 80-20 matching reimbursement program aimed at building and rehabilitating trails and trail-related facilities across non-motorized, diversified, and motorized trail categories. In 2024, the program is open for applications for both new trail construction and improvements to existing trails, following a competitive application process overseen by the RTP and the Virginia Recreational Trails Program Advisory Committee. Eligible applicants include city, county, town, tribal, or other government entities, as well as registered nonprofit groups partnered with a government body.

FWP is offering grants for the 2024-2025 school year to Montana outlying school districts to facilitate visits to the Montana WILD Education Center in Helena, MT. These grants aim to cover transportation and/or lodging costs to enable schools in remote areas to access the center's educational programs. Grants are available for students in grades 4th to 12th, with priority given to schools located 50 miles or more (one-way) from Helena, and additional support for lodging expenses offered to those over 150 miles away. The maximum reimbursement is capped at $2,500 per school, with lodging rates set at $30 per student. Applications are due by May 31, 2024, with notifications to follow a week after the deadline. Should funds remain post-initial distribution, they will be allocated on a first-come basis. Schools are required to engage in pre-visit educational activities and encouraged to undertake a community-based project post-visit.

The Ohio Meat Processing Grant Program, initially established by House Bill 110 of the 134th Ohio General Assembly and further funded by House Bill 33 of the 135th General Assembly, is designed to support Ohio livestock and poultry producers. This program offers grants up to $500,000 to assist in the improvement and expansion of meat harvesting/processing services. These grants aim to enhance processing efficiency and support the expansion or construction of facilities on existing sites. Administered by the Ohio Department of Development, eligible businesses must be for-profit entities operating a Federal or State registered meat harvesting/processing facility in Ohio as of July 1, 2023. Funding can cover a range of costs associated with plant construction/expansion and the purchase of new/upgraded machinery or technology, excluding personnel costs, land purchases, and non-eligible expenses. A total of $14 million in funds is available for Fiscal Year 2024, with grants covering no more than 65% of project costs, requiring matching funds for the remainder. Grant renewed every year.

Arts Respond - Cultural District Project Eligibility: TCA Cultural Districts; VERIFIED College Arts Institution, Established Arts Organizations, Established Arts Organizations of Color, Government Local Arts Agencies, Local Arts Agencies, Rural Arts Providers located within a TCA Designated Cultural District Intent: Projects that use the arts to diversify local economies, generate revenue, and attract visitors and investment. This competitive grant program provides project assistance grants on a short-term basis and may include administrative costs directly related to the project. This program is designed for projects that focus on significant cultural tourism projects. These projects should serve at least one of the following: High quality arts programming that will attract a significant number of visitors from 50 miles or more outside the community (i.e., blockbuster art exhibitions, national or regional premieres, major festivals) Enhancements to the cultural district to make it more accessible, attractive, cohesive-looking, and safe for visitors Improved signage and wayfinding for the district Promotion of the district; this may include the district’s website, branding, and marketing Organizational support for the management and operations of the district (TCA Cultural District only) These grants may include capital improvements. The CalMoneySmart program aims to enhance financial empowerment among unbanked and underbanked Californians by funding nonprofit organizations. Through financial education and empowerment services, it seeks to reduce disparities, improve financial literacy, and foster wealth-building opportunities. The program awards grantees up to $200K per year for two consecutive fiscal years to promote financial stability and security statewide. ; Grant funds may only be used for the following financial education and empowerment services for the targeted at-risk unbanked and underbanked populations: 1) Designing, developing, or offering, free of charge to consumers, classroom or web-based financial education and empowerment content intended to help unbanked and underbanked consumers achieve, identify, and access lower cost financial products and services, establish or improve their credit, increase their savings, or lower their debt. 2) Providing individualized, free financial coaching to unbanked and underbanked consumers. 3) Designing, developing, or offering, free of charge to consumers, a financial product or service intended to help unbanked and underbanked consumers identify and access responsible financial products and financial services, establish or improve their credit, increase their savings, or lower their debt. Every project funded with a grant from the Financial Empowerment Fund shall meet the following criteria: 1) Promote and enhance the economic security of consumers. 2) Adhere to the five principles of effective financial education described in the June 2017 report issued by the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau titled “Effective financial education: Five principles and how to use them.” Grant awards will be announced for a two-year period covering two consecutive fiscal years. Funds for each fiscal year are disbursed separately and any unexpended funds must be returned to the DFPI. Disbursement of funding for the second fiscal year is contingent on submission of a satisfactory annual report. A mandatory in-person training for grantees will be held during the grant cycle. Final details will be included in the grant agreement.   Grantees may use no more than 15 percent of the grant to cover administrative (indirect) costs. Failure to comply shall render the Applicant ineligible for a grant during the subsequent fiscal year and until the noncompliance is corrected.  A grantee may subcontract services that it has agreed to provide under the grant agreement, so long as those services are conducted on behalf of the grantee. Subcontract arrangements must be clearly described in the scope of work and budget. Accepting grant funds with the intent of distributing those funds to other nonprofit organizations (for example, sub-grants or fiscal sponsorship) is not allowed. Grant funding may not be used for financial incentives for individuals. Prohibited incentives include, but are not limited to, match funding for savings accounts, participant stipends, or gift cards with a cash value. Grantees are required to submit preliminary and final annual reports, in a form and by a date specified by the Commissioner of Financial Protection and Innovation, documenting: 1) The specific uses to which grant funds were allocated, 2) The number of individuals aided through use of the funds, 3) Quantitative results regarding the impact of grant funding, and 4) Any other information requested by the Commissioner. Failure to submit satisfactory reports shall render the Applicant ineligible for any DFPI grant during the subsequent fiscal year and until the required report is submitted. 

New Jersey's Electric School Bus Grant Program aims to transition the state's school bus fleets to electric power, reducing the reliance on fossil fuel-powered buses that constitute over 99% of the 21,700 registered school buses. This initiative seeks to improve the health of students and residents in communities by funding electric school bus implementation. Eligible applicants include school districts that own buses and school bus contractors working with schools, focusing on promoting equity across different regions and prioritizing applications from Overburdened Communities. The program provides $15 million annually for three years, with application details and more information available through provided webinars and the program’s dedicated webpage.

This award mechanism seeks to support the delivery of evidence-based clinical services to screen for cancer and pre-cancer in underserved populations who do not have adequate access to cancer early detection interventions and health care, bringing together networks of public health and community partners to carry out programs tailored for their communities. Projects should identify cancers that cause the most burden in the community, have nationally recommended screening methods, and use evidence-based methods to screen for these cancers.

TWC is committed to improving access to quality child care across the state of Texas. This RFA seeks Applicants to foster sustainable career pathways that increase the availability of qualified Early Childhood Educators through the development of RAPs, which combines OJL with related classroom instruction. RAPs have been expanding into more nontraditional occupations, including early childhood education in the form of child care RAPs. Child care RAPs will assist in improving the education and training that Early Childhood Educators receive, thus allowing them to improve their understanding of child development and improve the quality of child care. High quality training and supports for Early Childhood Educators are important to the child care field.

Supports applications which propose clinical and population-based projects designed to develop effective prevention and early detection interventions to reduce cancer risk, mortality, and morbidity among Texans. Projects that propose such research collaborations with existing CPRIT Prevention Program awardees including the CPRIT funded Texas Collaborative Center for Hepatocellular Cancer (https://www.bcm.edu/research/labs-and-centers/research-centers/texas-collaborative-center-for-hepatocellular-cancer) are strongly encouraged.

Supports applications for innovative mathematical and/or computational research projects addressing questions that will advance current knowledge in the (a) mechanisms that tie altered gene expression and downstream molecular mechanisms to functional cancer phenotypes and/or (b) mechanisms that tie tumor morphology to functional cancer phenotypes and/or mechanisms that tie treatment sequence and combination to evolving functional cancer phenotypes (that emerge as a result of treatment selection).

The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) has identified the need to provide community-based care services in a proposed community that includes support services to all Children and families that support safety, permanency, and well-being of Children in its legal conservatorship. DFPS sees a service delivery model that fully engages communities in serving Children, Youth, and families provided through a performance-based Single Source Continuum Contract (SSCC) as the approach that can most effectively meet this need in a manner that achieves improved outcomes for Children in its conservatorship. The SSCC provider must ensure the full continuum of substitute care (foster and kinship care), purchased services, case management and reunification services for Children and Youth in DFPS legal conservatorship from the designated geographic proposed community, those placed in the proposed community through the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC), and through interregional agreements.

Supports applications for innovative research projects addressing questions that will advance knowledge of the causes, prevention, progression, detection, or treatment of cancer in children and adolescents. Laboratory, clinical, or population-based studies are all acceptable. CPRIT expects the outcome of the research to reduce the incidence, morbidity, or mortality from cancer in children and/or adolescents in the near- or long-term.

The Maine Tourism Development & Management Grant is designed to foster tourism development, education, and management projects in Maine that aim to enhance collaboration among key destination organizations, create sustainable growth within the tourism sector, and provide qualified technical and consulting assistance. The grant supports projects that align with the Maine Office of Tourism's Destination Management Plan and prioritize sustainable and inclusive tourism. Applications are accepted annually, with grants ranging from $15,000 to $40,000. Eligible projects include tourism product development, stewardship planning, visitor education programs, strategic planning related to tourism, and the creation of educational or interpretive signage to improve the visitor experience. A 25% cash match is required to ensure regional and community support for the projects. Ineligible uses of funding include marketing campaigns, special events, for-profit organizations, administrative costs, and construction projects. The grant emphasizes the importance of advancing off-season tourism, promoting the value of tourism, and developing inclusive travel opportunities.
