WCSP provides scholarships to students in associate or bachelor’s degree programs that qualify them for WellnessCoach Certification through the education pathway in exchange for a 12-month service obligation providing CWC services in California. Eligible applicants may receive up to $35,000. The purpose of this program is to increase the number of CWCs providing direct services in California. The Wellness Coach profession is a new, certified position to increase our state’s overall capacity to support the growing behavioral health needs of our youth. It is designed to help build a larger and more diverse and representative behavioral health workforce in California that hasthe training and supervision needed to engage directly with young people where they live, study and work. Wellness Coaches will offer non-clinical services that support children and youth behavioral health and well-being. Services include wellness promotion and education, screening, care coordination, individual and group support, and crisis referral. The model will supplement and support existing behavioral health roles, fill gaps in the current behavioral health workforce, and create a larger and more diverse workforce with whom youth can connect.

The New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) is making up to $3M in Title I Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Statewide Activities funding available under the Apprenticeship Expansion Grant (AEG-4) Request for Applications (RFA). The purpose of this RFA is to expand New York State (NYS) Registered Apprenticeship (RA) training by increasing employment opportunities for approximately 130 apprentices, with a focus on underrepresented populations. These apprentices will enter trades in high-demand occupations, with a focus on the emerging fields of Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, Hospitality, and Information Technology, as well as other in-demand occupations. Please note that this solicitation focuses on promoting the expansion of NYS RAs and as such, RAs in the field of Construction are not eligible for funding under this RFA unless the trade is to be used for the upkeep and maintenance of a facility owned by the business entity employing the apprentice, such as plant maintenance trades.

Hurricane Recovery Grants are available for homeowners, renters, and business owners in Daytona Beach, Florida. Eligible residents with moderate or low income can receive up to $9,000 for reimbursement of costs such as mortgage payments, rent assistance, insurance deductibles, mold remediation (for owner-occupied homes), and relocation assistance. Applicants must be Daytona Beach residents, qualify as a "qualifying household," and submit a formal insurance or FEMA claim related to Hurricane Ian or Hurricane Nicole. The total amount of assistance shall not exceed $9,000 per household. Additionally, small businesses with 50 or fewer employees can receive up to $3,000 for reimbursement of business-related losses.

Key focuses include organizations with full-time professional management or cultural/artistic staff, those presenting a full season of programming, and those demonstrating ADA compliance and adherence to equal opportunity employment requirements. The grant specifically funds operational expenses such as salaries, office rent, utilities, and general website upkeep, recognizing that stable operations are fundamental to consistent program delivery. Expected outcomes include the sustained operation and growth of Wichita's arts and cultural organizations, leading to a broader array of cultural offerings for residents. Measurable results could include the number of performances or exhibitions presented, the number of citizens served, and the overall financial stability of recipient organizations. The city's strategic priority is to invest in its cultural assets to maintain a high quality of life and a strong community identity, with the theory of change positing that direct operational funding empowers cultural organizations to deliver their services more effectively, leading to a more culturally enriched and engaged populace. Funding limitations are based on an organization's actual expenses in its most recently completed fiscal year, categorizing them as "Small" (less than $250,000 in expenses, eligible for up to 15% of expenses), "Medium" (between $250,000 and $499,999 in expenses, eligible for up to 10% of expenses), or "Large" ($500,000 or more in expenses, eligible for up to 8% of expenses or $75,000, whichever is less). Organizations can submit only one application per cycle. This tiered approach ensures that funding is distributed equitably and proportionally to the operational scale of each applicant, maximizing the program's reach and impact across the diverse cultural ecosystem of Wichita.

The CASF Broadband Public Housing Account provides grants and loans to build broadband networks offering free broadband service for residents of low-income communities including, but not limited to, publicly supported housing developments, farmworker housing, and other housing developments or mobile home parks with low-income residents that do not have access to any broadband service provider that offers free broadband service that meets or exceeds state standards for the residents of the low-income community. The allocated funding for the Broadband Public Housing Account is $15 million for fiscal year 2022-2023.  The Broadband Public Housing Account will finance up to 100 percent of the costs to install inside wiring and broadband network equipment.

Grant Opportunity: Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program Description: The HOPWA program provides housing assistance and supportive services for low-income individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. The County of Rockland, funded by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, offers tenant-based rental assistance (TBRA) and support services to eligible individuals diagnosed with HIV infection or AIDS. The goal is to help these households secure and maintain appropriate housing in Rockland County. Funder: NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Award Details: HOPWA rental subsidies (TBRA) will be combined with shelter allowance subsidies from the Rockland County Department of Social Services to maximize funding utilization. TBRA subsidies will be provided along with legal and counseling services, similar to the Section 8 Housing Voucher Choice program. Eligible households must meet the definition of "low-income" set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Medically appropriate and documented cases may qualify for a greater number of bedrooms than in the Section 8 program.
