The Northwestern STEM Network Grant VI, administered by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Science, Innovation, and Technology (OSIT), aims to support innovative initiatives that align with the objective of developing a diverse talent pool to meet the employment needs of Northwestern Nevada’s evolving STEM industries. Projects should address equity in STEM, raise awareness about STEM opportunities, and ensure high-quality STEM education with engaged business partners across all counties, cities, and districts. Funding is available up to $50,000, with applications due by June 28, 2024. Eligible projects include pilot programs, scaling up existing programs, or extending successful initiatives from other regions.

The United States Department of Energy’s (DOE) Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program was originally created by the Federal Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 and expanded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). New funding wBIL as allocated to the program in 2021 under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) with the broad goals to reduce carbon emissions and energy use, improve energy efficiency, and increase community investment and local workforce development. IIJA funding made available in 2021 under the EECBG (2021 EECBG) allocated funds directly to state and certain local jurisdictions that met program criteria, with approximately $4.5 million allocated to the State. Of the funds allocated to the State, $4,070,070 are available for the LGBDC.

This funding opportunity provides financial support to designated STEM schools in Nevada for professional development, educator stipends, and materials to enhance high-quality STEM education.

The Monterey Peninsula Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations to benefit the community within specific focus areas: arts & culture, community & environment, education, health & human services, and youth. The Foundation prioritizes applications that offer innovative solutions and show promise for sustained local support. They look for organizations with a broad base of funding support, indicating community engagement and financial stability. Their theory of change is rooted in empowering effective organizations to deliver impactful services and build resilient communities. Exceptions to the one-grant-per-applicant rule are considered for emergencies or one-time significant community-wide benefits, highlighting the Foundation's responsiveness to critical needs. The types of support offered include operating support, program support, and capital support, providing flexibility for organizations to deliver services, run programs, or invest in infrastructure. The grant period for a single-year grant is October 1 to May 31 (8 months). The Foundation is committed to supporting organizations that uphold principles of non-discrimination and financial accountability, excluding funding for activities solely promoting religious doctrine, academic research, endowments, fundraising campaigns, political purposes, or organizations that have been in operation for less than three years.

The North Dakota Council on the Arts offers the Community Arts Access Tier 1 & 2 grant, ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, to support arts activities such as festivals, exhibitions, and performances by eligible North Dakota-based nonprofit and public entities, with the aim of enhancing programming quality, expanding audiences, and promoting arts appreciation within the state.

This funding opportunity provides financial support to various public and nonprofit entities for replacing outdated diesel marine engines with cleaner technologies and for training programs that prepare individuals for careers in zero-emission transportation.

The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) offers the GO TEXAN - Event Grants as part of the Marketing Enhancement Grant Assistance Program. These grants aim to support Associate-level GO TEXAN partners who organize public events such as festivals and farmers markets, promoting Texas-made products and businesses under the GO TEXAN program. Eligible events must focus on advertising expenses and can only include one event per applicant within the designated timeline. Applications are accepted until May 16, 2024, and the projects can run from October 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025. Grant awards are determined based on the event’s adherence to GO TEXAN participation and program recognition, with funding available up to $20,000 depending on past participation and the extent of promotional activities.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is offering the Rural Hospital Financial Stabilization Grant to provide financial support to rural hospitals in Texas to help them transition to long-term financial solvency and sustainability. Eligible applicants include hospitals classified as rural, licensed by HHSC for 25 or fewer beds, and able to demonstrate financial need as per the specified tiers. The application deadline is June 21, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Central Time. The project period begins on the grant agreement effective date and concludes on August 31, 2025. Award amounts vary by need tier: $100,000 for Tier 1 (Basic Need), $175,000 for Tier 2 (Moderate Need), and $250,000 for Tier 3 (High Need), with a total of $4,500,000 available for distribution.

The State of Texas, through the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), announces the availability of state funding for the Grants to Increase Local Dementia Support (GILDS) program. The grant aims to provide support to persons with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD), their caregivers, and promote early detection and diagnosis. Eligible applicants include governmental entities, non-governmental entities, not-for-profit organizations, for-profit entities, and associations, but not individuals. The application deadline is June 28, 2024, by 10:30 a.m. CST. The grant period is twelve months, starting on September 1, 2024, with an option for four annual renewals. The maximum award amount is $150,000, with an estimated total funding of $1,200,000 and approximately 10 awards expected.

This grant path focuses on the prevention of unintentional and intentional firearm-related harm through education and community outreach specifically around safe storage and Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs). The goal is to reduce unauthorized firearm access and educate at-risk individuals and their communities about temporary out-of-home gun storage options. Projects under this path should focus on promoting, educating, and providing access to firearm safe storage and/or lethal means counseling. Additionally, they should educate the public on ERPOs as a legal mechanism for temporarily reducing access to firearms for individuals deemed at risk of harming themselves or others. Grants are targeted towards organizations that can deliver these educational services effectively within Colorado communities. Applicants must attend a pre-application webinar

The HOME-ARP Housing Plus Support Program provides funding for service providers to provide short term financial assistance and critical services to qualifying populations who are exiting homelessness as well as to prevent vulnerable qualifying populations from losing housing.; The HOME-ARP Program is a one time allocation awarded to states, units of local government, insular areas, and consortia of units of general local government that qualified for an allocation of HOME funds in Fiscal Year 2021. Funding is intented to address the need for homelessness assistance and supportive services specifically for qualifying populations defined as homeless, at risk of homelessness, fleeing, or attempting to flee domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking and other vulnerable populations at risk of housing instability. HOME-ARP funding for this NOFA will provide grants to nonprofit and Native American Entities. The Department will award HOME-ARP funds to provide critical services to those experiencing homelessness, exiting homelessness and to prevent vulnerable populations from losing housing.

The primary purpose of the LOFFAP is to provide a source of funding for landowners and lessees of a livestock operation who require reconstruction assistance as a result of infrastructure damage caused by a wildfire and that wildfire's associated flooding. The Manual is designed to assist applicants with the preparation of applications for grant monies from the LOFFAP FY 2024 grant cycles.  Section I of the Manual provides general information on the AZDA’s LOFFAP granting process.  Section II contains information describing how to complete a grant application.  Section III contains information on the process of grant awards and Grant Agreements.  Section IV contains all necessary grant application forms and instructions.  Section V contains appendices A – E.   Financial Notes: The source of funding for LOFFAP is the Livestock Operator Fire and Flood Assistance Fund, established under A.R.S. § 3-109.03. The legislature has appropriated $10,000,000.00 to the Fund, of which an amount of $9,500,000.00 will be available for grant awards. Multiple grants may be awarded. Grant of LOFFAP funds is limited as follows: a. No more than 50% of the monies in the Fund may be awarded with respect to infrastructure projects in any one county in one fiscal year. b. A grant cannot exceed 50% of the total cost of the grantee’s infrastructure project cost as a result of that wildfire’s associated flooding, including all amounts received from other sources, whether from the grantee or from other state and federal programs.  Grantees will be required to sign a consent to allow sharing of information between AZDA and other state and federal programs.  Sources of other funding include but are not limited to: i. A grant cannot exceed an aggregate of $250,000 for damage caused to a livestock operation as a result of a single wildfire and that wildfire’s associated flooding.         

This grant path supports projects focused on community violence intervention or interruption, particularly in high-risk communities. The initiatives should aim at directly engaging with individuals most likely to be involved in or affected by firearm-related harm. Projects should employ strategies like Hospital-Based Violence Intervention Programs (HVIPs) and Community-Based Intervention Programs (CVIPs) that capitalize on the "teachable moment" immediately after a youth has been involved in violence. Additionally, strategies should include violence interruption programs that provide immediate responses to shootings to prevent further violence and retaliation through community engagement events. The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) is offering the PRODUCT PROMOTION (GTP) Grants as part of the GO TEXAN - Marketing Enhancement Grant Assistance Program. This initiative is specifically designed to support GO TEXAN Product Partners at Tier 2 or higher in their efforts to market and promote Texas products that are produced, processed, or have added value within the state. The grants aim to enhance the marketing capabilities of local businesses, fostering growth and expanding the reach of Texas products both locally and beyond. Applications are accepted until May 16, 2024, with the grant program running from August 15, 2024, through December 31, 2025. Eligible partners must be in good standing with the GO TEXAN program and meet specific participation criteria, including maintaining their partnership status throughout the grant period.

This grant is specifically for new planning grant applicants and is part of the AmeriCorps federal agency. Applications and planning grant proposals are submitted to Serve Kentucky, which acts as a conduit for these federal funds. The application process is twofold, beginning outside the federal eGrants system, with Serve Kentucky reviewing, modifying, and approving applications before they are entered into eGrants​​.

This grant provides funding to local governments and private entities in Michigan to replace old diesel vehicles and equipment with all-electric alternatives, promoting cleaner air and sustainable practices.

This program provides funding to various organizations and businesses in Kansas to create or improve tourism attractions that will draw more visitors and stimulate the local economy.

This funding opportunity is designed to help small Idaho communities improve or build senior citizen and community centers, enhancing services for low- and moderate-income residents.

This funding opportunity provides financial support for new marketing initiatives aimed at boosting tourism in Kansas, targeting not-for-profit organizations, for-profit businesses, government agencies, and other eligible entities involved in promoting travel destinations.

The Tier 2 Regional Projects under the 2023 Outdoor Recreation Trails+ Grant aim to support larger, regional conservation-oriented, shovel-ready projects that provide recreational value and economic benefits to broader areas and multiple communities. These projects must be publicly accessible and demonstrate proven regional value. Eligible applicants include Tribes, Pueblos, Nations, municipalities, counties, nonprofits, public schools, colleges, soil and water conservation districts, and land grant associations. Projects must be completed within 24 months, with grants awarded up front and applications accepted on a rolling basis starting July 1, 2023 until funds are expended or June 30th 2024 (for FY24)
